Zhaoxing Tianzhiyi Hospital

Superb room with large windows offering amazing views of the town from anywhere in the room. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony after a long day of hiking. We had all the essentials we needed and daily housekeeping. The bed was comfortable. The owner was very helpful, when we arrived he sent us many useful details on WeChat and this became our base to organise our activities. He also helped us locate a specific shop that we were struggling to find in town. The location is great, very central but a bit away from the busy and noisy main street (although photographers looking for a view of the drum tower can sometimes get noisy). The wood structure of the house feels traditional, it’s quite nice but it also means you can hear people walking upstairs more easily, and you need to be a bit careful in the room to avoid making noise for the people downstairs.

Easy communication before arrival; the host provided helpful travel tips in advance and met us at the tourist shuttle pickup point. Clean and comfortable room. We booked the 4th floor, but the owner thoughtfully upgraded/offered us a more convenient room. Great location inside the village, right next to the Drum Tower. The first picture is the view from our room window, located right beside a famous photo landmark in the village.

Owners were very helpful giving me detailed instructions on how to get from the train station to the hotel, which would've been hard without help. They answered all my questions and helped me with bookings around town. The view from the room was amazing, and everything was nice and clean. One small suggestion, the towels could've been slightly better.
