"The hotel is in the middle of Zhaoxing, so the position is perfect. The owner is so kind,she gave us a lift to CongJiang railway station. Everyday she gave us bottles of water. The room is clean and has everything you need. I definitely would like to come back!"

"This hotel is a MUST-STAY accomodation if someone is traveling to Zhaoxing Dong Village or Tang'an Dong Village. The views outside of the hotel room are drop-dead gorgeous, both during the day and night. But the most pleasant aspect of staying here are the exceptionally kind and thoughtful hotel owners. Vivian speaks excellent English, and is very knowledgeable and patient. My room was clean and quiet. Vivian helped me purchase a ticket to a local campfire/theater show at a big discount too. I definitely would recommend staying here."

"After comparing several options, I finally chose this one. The price-performance ratio is very high, the room is large and clean, and the boss provides five-star service. He picked up and dropped off the guests many times and was very considerate and warm. I had a lot of fun playing there. I highly recommend it!"

"Wonderful hotel right in the center of Zhaoxing with an amazing view on the entire village and the surroundings. The hotel seems newly renovated, everything was beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, because of the heavy rains in the days preceding our stay, the water in the swimming pool caught some algae and they had to take it out, clean the pool, and refill it again, which is why we couldn't make use of it during our stay (we only stayed for two days). That was a bit unfortunate as the entire swimmingpool area is incredibly beautiful and with the summer heat it would have been nice to do a swim after the hikes. But all the rest was absolutely wonderful. We actually stayed there on the day of my birthday and the hotel organized a wonderful birthday cake for me and even decorated the room. It was amazing and I would like to thank the staff again for their kindness. Our arrangement included the afternoon tea and the breakfast, both of them delicious and generous. Breakfast included the typical Chinese soups, rice, etc. while also offering Western style bread, marmelade, butter and lots of fruits. What merits a special mention is the outdoor bath tub directly on the balcony. Every evening they prepared the bath tub with special bathing oils and taking a bath right before going to sleep on our outdoor terrace was a sheer delight! We will remember it as a very special place, with incredibly nice and kind people. Thank you for having made this stay so special for us!"

"The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!"

"Location of the hotel is very good, it’s located near the entrance of the village. The view is very nice from the hotel window. Service is excellent , the young man helped us to carry our luggage from the bus stop where we alighted to the hotel. Hotel staff are helpful. We were given fresh fruits daily. Breakfast was rather limited - noodles, dough fritters, boiled egg, bread, bun , corn. Food was cold except for the noodles which was hot. The mattress and pillows were too soft for my liking. Other than that, it was a good stay"

"The place is slightly uphill away from the busy main street and the room was big and clean. I had caught a cold and therefore extended my stay and took it slow in Zhaoxing. The owner was very kind and attentive and even offered to take me to see the doctor. I would definitely stay here again and maybe rent a little e-scooter to explore the surrounding area. Next time I will spend the extra money to book a room with a view and hopefully get to see the triple rainbow. Thank you for the medicine and the Guangdong soup!☺️"
