Second stay but will be my last. Different from my previous stay on Jan 2022. Previously they had many waitresses with beautiful costumes but now sometime only one newly employed overtiring server. Previously they gave check out as late at 4pm hut now no more. Breakfast set not even have the most popular American breakfast. Not even have one egg. Other hotels already have buffet breakfast. I topped up extra for club lounge totally not worth it. Cocktail only limited to one drink and 5 little meat selections. No more dinner. Missing your old days.

Located within walking distance from Maxwell MRT. Accessible to many cafes and there is a 7-11 just located opposite of the hotel. Room is quite small so it will be quite difficult to move around if there are multiple luggages. Basic amenities are provided such as toothbrush & toothpaste, comb, shaving set & shower cap. However noted that there are no mineral water provided (Evian water is chargeable). There is kettle in the room so you can boil your own water or get it from 7-11 just across the street. Visible worn out look and dust is seen in the room. Also, noted some ants in the washroom. So cleanliness can be improved. Our room comes with access to their executive lounge but certain service such as afternoon nibbles are only available at Maxwell Reserve (walkable distance). Pool and gym are also only available at the other location. Breakfast and evening cocktail is available in the hotel itself. If you're looking for a boutique hotel with unique design, can consider to stay a night as it is located near to many food areas.

My second stay in this hotel. Mrt station is just downstair so very convenient for tourists. Weekend will be very quiet and hardly any food nearby unless you walk or order in. Room was huge and have a nice view! Was surprised that Westin has not many paid channels on the TV. Maybe time to add in netfix. Pool has a lovely view and make sure you bring along your sunblock. Hotel breakfast has improved as compared to previous time. Any minus points? Well The two front desk ladies were a-bit cold during the check-in. No smile at all and was not that “willing” to issue me a parking coupon which ultimately my guy said he would pay for the parking. Thank goodness, i did not see them when i check out. Instead , its the same guy who checked me in the previous time! He still remembered me! Good memory! Thank you Mr Bobby Chan for your warm smile that made me feel welcome to book the hotel again!

Very spacious room with both a shower stall and a bathtub. Added bonus that there is filtered drinking water available directly in the room. Service was generally good as well - had a faulty minibar fridge which was replaced quite quickly by maintenance staff. Based on the cleanliness, room comfort and location of the hotel to many restaurants and a big mall (Great World City) nearby, would definitely recommend.

Was able to pre-check in at 12 pm before heading to have my lunch at mid valley which is connected to the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful to storage my luggage while I go for lunch. Check in was done at 2pm at the luggage station without issue. Cleanliness would need some improvement given that the pillow I gotten was quite dirty. Would definitely go back again given the location

It's an expensive hotel, but I would recommend to spend at least 1 night there. You can do an early check-in, which allowed you to use the pool, fitness or observation deck already (it's a temporary card till you can check-in your room) . So you can enjoy some amenities there already. The room was huge and very clean. The shopping mall connected also has many brands names, and some restaurants. A good court is at the mall as well. A casino is there as well. If you like gambling.

Convenient location with the MRT and buses within walking distance. Plenty of food options around. Hotel is nice and clean. The dinner buffet has a good selection of food. Just that the swimming pool is a little too small.

Title:  Review for Excellent Service by Sheryl Soh and Team at Peninsula Excelsior Hotel I would like to take a moment to compliment the outstanding service provided by Sheryl Soh, her team, and the management at Peninsula Excelsior Hotel during our recent stay. My wife and I were celebrating a very special occasion—our newly wedded day—and the exceptional hospitality we received made it all the more memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Sheryl and her team went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. Not only were we upgraded with access to the evening cocktail, but we were also treated to a complimentary breakfast buffet, which was such a thoughtful gesture. What truly stood out was the effort Sheryl put into decorating our room to match our wedding theme. She set it up beautifully with balloons, lights, and flowers, creating such a warm and heartwarming atmosphere. It was a small but incredibly meaningful touch that showed her attention to detail and her dedication to ensuring guests feel special. Throughout our stay, the team demonstrated professionalism and a high standard of service. They consistently went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. For anyone looking for a 5-star, service-oriented hotel at a reasonable price, I cannot recommend Peninsula Excelsior Hotel enough. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we are deeply grateful to Sheryl Soh and the entire team for making our first few nights as husband and wife so memorable. Thank you for your incredible hospitality! We will definitely be back.

A great hotel with a good location ( near tanjong pagar mrt) with lots of eateries around. My partner and I stayed in a club room for 1 night. The room looks clean and new. The club lounge was very cozy and comfortable. Very good vibes for chilling there. It comes with small bites like sandwiches/croissant in the afternoon, whole day cookies ,biscuits , chips and juices available. However, we were quite disappoint with the evening cocktails. Saw many good reviews about their club lounge but I guess we came at the wrong timing as I heard from the manager that this weeks’s booking for club were less than 5 ppl hence it will only served Ala Carte items like spring roll and yakitori just that it’s unlimited serving. Kinda wasted as I was still looking forward to their seafoods ( based on those reviews) nevertheless, we were well served by Jasper and Rayyis. Even though we were the only guest at the lounge, they are always ready to refill our drinks for us. They were very friendly too 👍🏻hopefully next time will get to try their full menu.

The room is bigger than the one I booked last minute. Overall is a not bad stay, just that the shower room got abit smell down from the pipe. We also did not request for a change of room since it’s just one night. There is not much city view because the building opposite to is ICA. We gotten a room at level 7 over 15 floors. To conclude, the hotel service is good and friendly. Note: There is no face towel, no cotton bud, no comb, no kettle provided. Only provide filtered water machine, dental kit, sanitary pads and body towels.

First time trying their executive club room with the club benefits. But was alittle disappointed with the person who served us during the check in. He did not mentioned to us what was included in our package like what time is the breakfast, the place for the breakfast and also the timing for the evening cocktail. This need to be improved to provide guests the information needed else they will not know and might missed the evening cocktail. The room was big but abit old and there is no “do not disturb” button. But luckily the staff from club lounge iskandar was very friendly and sociable. He will come and chat with us. He also told us the breakfast place is at level 3. The food selection was okay just that the food was alittle cold and they actually serviced beer on tap and black label! Overall still a pleasant experience.

Great location: About 10 minutes walk to the nearby mall and subway station. There is a Bus stop right outside of the hotel’s main entrance. Staff: very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom are clean but very small. We stayed on the third floor. The soundproofing of the room is very bad. We heard the couples staying next room who made noise at late night. It was loud and disgusting. In addition, there had been some maintenance work going for a few days which was noisy for a few hours each day Food: There is a small restaurant at the top floor. We went up one time and there were a lot of people. And we saw there were not enough staff to serve the people. There is a breakfast place on the ground floor. But they are closed for lunch and breakfast. There is a vending machine in the lobby that offers snacks and instant noodle, which is good. In addition, there are trolleys available in the entrance and you can use it to bring all luggages to your room.

Our stay is one of the best experience. We usually book 3to5x per year staycation and for a basic or deluxe room their amenities are the best. Guarenteed that we will come back again as I book my birthday on October for staycation and we are going to try the suite room this time. staff are friendly and accomodating. MS. KIMBERLY from the front desk is pretty and helpful! She accepted us with a warm and beaming smile. Love this hotel and great location as well very near to MRT, mall and to our local church. Thank you so much

Excellent experience! The team at the desk was lovely, and so was the waitress at the breakfast. Probably the smallest room we've ever stayed at, but it had everything we needed and was super comfortable as well. Everything was clean and in perfect working other, except for the fridge that was warmer inside than the room, but it didn't bother us. Gym is super modern and great if you are looking for cardio, not great for any weight exercises. Laundrette is in the same space, which was great managed to get our clothes washed during the workout. Self-service luggage storage is a great option as well. The only disappointment was the breakfast. We would not bother again. There was a great breakfast place just across the road with much better value for money. Overall 10/10 We would highly recommend and will definitely be back on our next visit to Singapore

I will definitely come back to stay at this hotel when I go to Singapore. My stay at this hotel was really excellent. I was served by Maryam and she was the reason why our stay here was satisfying. She helped us a lot and this hotel also allowed us to check in early and check out late too. The room is spacious, clean, and the place itself is accessible. So easy to get around because the bus stop and the mrt station are just within walking distance. Hope they keep reasonable price forever. The only thing that I was concerned was they didnt have a 24 hour room service, because we were hungry in the middle of the night, and it was raining hard in Singapore and no food delivery wanted to pick up our food. Hope they will serve this in the future.

NICE! Loved the suvai teas. Reception Evan was super cool and helpful, swift. 20min walk to GreatWorldCity/NewBahru/ZionFoodCentre/Havelock mrt areas nice. . Jacuzzi at pool area nice touch. Seem to have a 7-11 nearby! and there's a instachef machine (didnt get to try). MAYBE - shower not strong. Public wifi didnt feel secure. rooms felt dated and 90s. TV was on during my check-in, called to get help to get the remote back to turn off noisy tv, but no one came back to me till i checked out next day. ended up it was room service I bumped into who helped me as lady happened to be along the corridor and knew where to get spare.

The hotel location is very strategic, making it easy to get around as it's close to public transportation such as bus stops and the MRT. There’s also a mini market nearby. The room itself was quite spacious for three people with an extra bed, although we were initially given the wrong room. However, after we complained, it was immediately changed—the response was good. The bathroom was average, just standard for Singapore—no bidet. The soap dispenser was a bit stuck, and there was a strange noise coming from the shower.
