Best Western Plus Elomaz Hotel ★★★★

"Don't book here. If you are an international traveler, they will lie and say that they do not have your reservation and leave you stranded in the middle of the night for a booked room guaranteed with a credit card. I arrived at this hotel at about 9:30 PM from Asaba International Airport to check into a room I booked and guaranteed on the official Best Western Website in the States weeks ago with a confirmation number. The front desk staff said they didn't have my reservation and were fully booked. I asked to speak to a manager, and the young lady at the front desk called the guy dressed in the colorful outfit standing on the front side of the desk. He kept repeating that they were fully booked and that my reservation didn't "drop" into their system. I am not sure if he was the manager or not. I am sure that the entire staff that I interacted with at this Best Western was subpar and had no concern for my safety or regard for prior reservations. I have reached out to Best Western Global as I do not want another unsuspecting traveler to encounter the same fate of being stranded in the middle of the night with a reservation for a guaranteed booked room and nowhere to lay their head. They did not try to help me find an alternate hotel or care that I was stranded and had been dropped off by a taxi. Choose a hotel with more integrity and better customer service than this one. Might I add, I also booked the Hawthorne Suites in Abuja and the Hilton Legend and Marriott in Lagos with absolutely no issues - checked into each one without incident - they all easily pulled up my existing reservations and checked me in. Avoid this one. Here's a picture of the front desk staff and "manager" who claimed they could not find my reservation even with the confirmation number. I called Best Western Global and sure enough I definitely had a guaranteed reservation."

The Thribeka International Hotel ★★★★

"We had an amazing time in Asaba because we stayed at The Thribeka. The location was perfect, the hotel was very clean with welcoming ambience, the food is always freshly made and very delicious. The staff were very courteous and welcoming, always ready to assist. Whenever I find myself in Asaba again, I'm definitely staying at The Thribeka, and I will gladly recommend them for your next stay in Asaba."

Villa Toscana Hotel Asaba ★★★★

BON Hotel Asaba

"They made it clear that no smoking in the rooms, I repeatedly asked two hotel staffs if I can smoke at the pool side and they said "yes", one even made it clear that the poolside is the only place I can smoke I left my room and went to the poolside to smoke and drink, a light skinned woman came and outrightly insulted and embarrassed me, asking me to turn off my smoke I tried explaining politely that I asked two staffs before coming down to smoke but she didn't even allow me to finish my statement Is it not better that the manager makes it clear that smoking in the hotel premises is prohibited instead of embarrassing customers And teach your staffs the rule so that they won't deceive innocent customers and get them embarrassed"
