Caution! This hotel is infested with paederus beetles. We changed rooms twice and found their traces in both, plus we got bitten—the wounds are terrifying. You can search "paederus beetles" online; they're like "flying concentrated sulfuric acid." They previously invaded southern provinces in China, and the authorities even issued warnings. Unexpectedly we encountered them this time and got bitten! On the first day of check-in, we killed one in the bathroom but didn't take it seriously. The next morning, I found a horrific bite wound on my arm. The hotel did try to resolve the issue—they took us to see a doctor and changed our room. However, in the new room's bathroom, we found the corpse of a beetle that had been squashed by previous guests on the wall. Finding at least three beetles in two rooms within two days, we suspect the hotel is heavily infested and didn't dare stay any longer—we immediately switched hotels. We hope fellow travelers considering this hotel will be extra cautious and choose wisely.

Hands down, this was the most impressive accommodation I've experienced in Vang Vieng, and I've visited many times! As it's a newly built property, everything was in pristine condition. The rooms were excellent with beautiful views, and the entire minibar was complimentary, which was a lovely touch. The food was delicious, but what truly left the biggest impression was the absolutely superb service.

I went to stay here last a few days ago for my birthday, it was really special and thank you for all stuff that was surprise me with the cakes and cocktails I really enjoyed and appreciated it so much, will definitely have to stay here again next time!

The hotel wasn’t terrible, but for the price I paid, I expected much better. The room was decent but lacked the comfort and amenities I was hoping for. The service was okay, but not particularly welcoming or attentive. The overall experience didn’t quite match the cost. I wouldn’t say it was a bad stay, but it definitely didn’t live up to my expectations for the price.

I'd personally rate this as the best hotel in Vang Vieng. Right at its doorstep, you'll find a complete array of dining, entertainment, and activities. While the decor might be a bit dated, it's still quite comfortable for a stay. The absolute highlight, though, is its prime location for hot air balloon viewing – you can effortlessly capture stunning photos from here.

The best hotel in Vang Vieng with a convenient location and beautiful mountain views.  The room is equipped with expensive furniture made of real Lao wood. A basket with towels is provided for visiting the pool.  A variety of breakfasts, both European and Chinese. On the terrace above the river, you can dine with a beautiful view and watch the soaring balloons and sunset. We stayed on New Year's Eve, and the general manager Pethantat Polsena organized a gala dinner with great dishes, champagne, a raffle and fireworks. Excellent guest oriented staff and excellent service!
