This was my first time experiencing a highly-rated Six Senses hotel, and it lived up to expectations! The day before check-in, our wonderful butler, Cherry, proactively reached out via WeChat to understand our needs, arrival time, and sent over restaurant and activity information. After we arrived, she checked in with us again about our stay and helped with reservations. Having a dedicated butler for any questions throughout our two-night stay was incredibly convenient. I noticed a lot of family-friendly activities, which makes me think this would be a great place to bring kids in the future. The coins given at the front desk could even be exchanged for ice cream! Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is situated right at the foot of Mount Qingcheng, making it very cool and refreshing, and surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and greeted us warmly. Overall, a fantastic experience, highly recommend!

Six Senses Qingcheng Mountain is conveniently located next to the entrance of Qingcheng Front Mountain, adjacent to the Dujiangyan Scenic Area. The hotel's design seamlessly blends local architectural styles with the natural landscape, creating a tranquil, 'paradise-like' ambiance. Guest rooms feature modern Chinese furnishings in natural wood tones and offer spacious layouts. Some suites boast scenic balconies with stunning mountain views. The hotel offers a variety of room types suitable for families or friends, with a courtyard-style layout enhancing privacy. Facilities include a swimming pool, spa, and complimentary minibar, though some facilities like the spa require advance booking. Service is generally attentive, and staff are friendly, but some guests have noted that response times could be improved. Overall, it's a comfortable experience, ideal for travelers seeking nature and relaxation.

They say this is the 'floor' (entry-level) Six Senses globally, but then again, the price is also 'floor' (affordable). The staff are all young, proactive, and enthusiastic, though admittedly, not always professional. But that's completely understandable. Sincerity is the ultimate weapon, and genuine, youthful sincerity is far better than professionalism without heart. It's truly a place where you can slow down. In the mornings, sitting on the room's balcony or in the courtyard, sipping tea, it's so peaceful. The chirping of insects and the occasional golf cart carrying guests to breakfast passing by. Surrounded by the air of Qingcheng Mountain, you wake up lost in the Daoist essence. I imagine many villages in the mountains of Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan live much like this, with vegetable patches in their courtyards and areas for raising chickens and ducks. The only difference is that this is a pastoral dream for those who haven't experienced true rural life – it creates a unique rural illusion specifically for city dwellers. I signed up for a Tai Chi class early in the morning and practiced Qingcheng Tai Chi. While I was practicing, the instructor remarked, 'This fellow practitioner has frozen shoulder.' He was right; I was gritting my teeth in pain, making it easy for him to spot my chronic ailment. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience, like an ideal pastoral idyll. Definitely worth trying; you won't regret it.

The room is very spacious, with one bedroom, one living room, and a balcony. The Six Senses eco-friendly concept of being plastic-free is commendable, and the resort's facilities and materials are self-sufficient. However, guests can order outside food, so this beautiful vision remains largely conceptual. The service is average; requests communicated via telephone control or butler often lead to misinterpretations by the actual service staff, affecting efficiency. Overall, it's alright. Some room facilities are aging and need renovation. The TV cabinet design, while matching the room's overall style, feels somewhat superfluous, and the TV size doesn't match the room's area. Such details still need improvement. The environment is generally very good, but it's adjacent to a local public square, and the noise from evening activities there can significantly disturb hotel guests' rest. Perhaps new hotels opening in Emei this year will create healthy competition, prompting Six Senses to improve.

The hotel has unique scenery, a tranquil environment, and fresh air. Housekeeper Yannie was incredibly attentive, warm, and thoughtful! The room she arranged was clean and spacious, and it was super convenient for getting to the Qingcheng Mountain scenic area, saving a lot of time and effort during our travels.

The wooden, eco-friendly design of the room was a highlight. The service was excellent; our butler was incredibly warm and attentive, providing shuttle services and even arranging a birthday gift and custom cake for our child. As for facilities, it's a great place surrounded by Qingcheng Mountain, with birds singing and flowers blooming!

The environment, service, and location all live up to the hotel's luxury positioning, making it well worth the price. The staff are enthusiastic and attentive. I highly recommend it for anyone who has high standards for both environment and service.

The environment is good, and the hotel's concept is great. Breakfast was also decent. However, the service really falls short. Our room was near the restaurant, and the constant humming of the cold storage unit kept us awake until late at night. We were told the manager would come the next day, but they never showed up, nor did anyone come specifically to apologize. We waited for half an hour for the manager, but no one appeared. Only a butler accompanied us, lugging all our bags, to switch rooms. And don't even get me started on the shuttle bus – it's so slow, even when you call in advance. Plus, the wooden doors in the room let in huge bugs at night... This place definitely isn't worth the price.

The hotel's architectural aesthetics truly resonated with my taste, with the wooden tones and lush greenery blending seamlessly. When it's rainy and misty, it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese landscape painting. The facilities are well-maintained, creating a perfect vacation vibe. However, to be honest, the front desk reception upon arrival was a bit chaotic. Perhaps it was due to the high occupancy during the summer holidays, as the waiting time was longer than expected, which did dampen my mood momentarily. Fortunately, the subsequent recovery was prompt and sincere, with staff proactively upgrading my room. However, domestic luxury boutique hotels really need to re-evaluate their service standards. The biggest highlight of this trip was the Six Senses Spa. I experienced a signature treatment from a Thai therapist, whose technique was professional and precise. Amidst the serene music and essential oil aromatherapy, the fatigue from my journey instantly vanished. Overall, despite a minor flaw, it doesn't detract from the overall beauty; it was a healing retreat into a hidden paradise.
