The Siren Hotel, an Ash Hotel

I booked this hotel for my mom's 70th birthday and her and my dad stayed downtown Detroit to have a couples weekend. They loved the location of The Siren and everyone working the hotel was super helpful and knowledgeable of the city and were delighted to have them staying there to celebrate her birthday weekend.

We had a quick stop in Detroit for a baseball game. We chose the Siren because it was so conveniently close, but once we got there we loved it and wish we had more time there. Great staff, cool vibe, comfy room, appreciated the bathrobes. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in downtown Detroit.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is excellent, and everything is within walking distance. The room was very clean and well-maintained. It was amazing that I could simply walk to the NBA game without worrying about transportation. Highly recommended!

We arrived a little after 4:00 p.m., knowing check in is at 3:00 p.m., to find out our room wasn’t ready. The lobby seats were full, presumably with others waiting for their rooms. My booking through ******* said it came with two complimentary drink tickets, so we thought maybe we’d use those while waiting, however the receptionist said they were not included. We didn’t spend much time there, except to sleep after finally getting into our room and with our plans for the night, so I cannot vouch for much else. The little opportunity for interaction, or impression was a disappointing experience.
