Hotel New Otani Tokyo the Main

Hotel New Otani boasts an elegant environment with abundant greenery and beautiful koi ponds, which are truly refreshing. The Japanese garden is exquisitely designed, showcasing distinct Japanese characteristics. For breakfast, guests can choose from four restaurants, and the restaurant on the 40th floor offers panoramic views of Tokyo's Akasaka area.

Huge thanks to the front desk lady for the room upgrade! The room was comfortable, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was plentiful, and it was lovely to enjoy it while overlooking the hotel garden. The beautiful environment makes it highly recommended!

Breakfast was a choice of three options, and the only Japanese set meal was filling. There were stains on the paper underneath the hard candies in the room's complimentary gift, which were in clear plastic packaging. Since it was near food, it was a bit concerning.

The main building truly lives up to its classic reputation, with the deluxe king room exceeding expectations in every detail. The room is elegant yet cozy, and the soundproofing is exceptional. The service team is professional and enthusiastic, and the location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It perfectly showcases the heritage of a long-standing high-end hotel. Parking is free.

The environment is great, and the service is excellent. It is a well-established five-star hotel after all. The Japanese breakfast on the first-floor lobby truly lives up to its reputation.

The Hotel New Otani is always so busy! Every time I check in, there are tons of people. I'm never quite sure when or which room types grant access to the executive lounge. It's always a bit of a mystery, sometimes I'm here, sometimes there. Of course, if you're staying in the Tower, you need to check in at the Tower reception before midnight. The hotel is super conveniently located near Akasaka, just a short walk away. The rooms are decent; even on the club floor, they aren't brand new, but everything is perfectly functional.

Hotel New Otani, as one of the 'Big Three,' truly lives up to its reputation. The spacious interiors and elegant decor exude Japanese charm. Getting around is a breeze, taxis are readily available to take you anywhere. It's conveniently located near the Imperial Palace and not far from Ginza, and the Edo-era Japanese garden offers a unique experience. I stayed in the main building, and the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The Tower Wing is also a great option, offering excellent value for money!

The hotel is a few hundred meters from the subway station. I booked a room in the main building. It wasn't huge, but it had all the essential amenities, and the bedding and pillows were incredibly comfortable! The shower was in the bathtub, but the water temperature and pressure were excellent. I have to praise the breakfast here; both the Garden Lobby on the 1st floor and the breakfast on the 40th floor were fantastic!
