Palace Hotel Tokyo

It's rare to find such a natural and relaxed atmosphere in Tokyo. Next time, I'll try running a lap around the Imperial Palace!

The hotel's location is excellent. Right downstairs, you have the Imperial Palace, which is perfect for a 5k run in the morning. There are lots of people jogging, creating a great atmosphere for exercise. I booked a club room and it said breakfast wasn't included, but Ctrip didn't mention that the club lounge offers complimentary all-day refreshments and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

I originally wanted to book the hotel room type I stayed in for the first few nights, but it showed as fully booked, so I could only reserve this more expensive club twin room. It turns out the more expensive experience was not as good as the basic room type I had before, and I didn't feel it was any better. Moreover, when I checked in, I found that the room type that was shown as unavailable when I booked was actually available that day, and there were quite a few of them, at a cheaper price too. I'm not sure what Ctrip means by playing these games, and I'm very unhappy about it.

The bread at the breakfast buffet is delicious. I highly recommend the fruit Danish pastries, especially the mango and apple ones.

This is the Palace Hotel. It's grand and impressive, but the price is quite steep at 6000 RMB per night, so 12000 for two nights. Everything else is great though.

An elegant and perfectly old-school hotel. I can't help but love the polite yet discreet service. The only downside is that the hotel's own Kaiseki and Tempura restaurants are incredibly difficult to book. It's a shame that despite multiple stays, I've never managed to get a reservation.

The view from the room was excellent; the sight of greenery spreading throughout the city was very calming. The room's cleanliness and service were also impeccable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, including some unusual ingredients not typically found in regular buffets. The pool and gym were also clean, allowing for a relaxing workout.

The hotel's location is superb, directly facing the Imperial Palace with expansive views. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The staff were very thoughtful and helped guests with any issues. Thank you! 🙏
