Ibis Osaka Umeda

Directly connected to Umeda Station via an underground passage. The location, service, facilities, and price are all excellent.

The location is excellent, the room is clean, and the front desk staff are polite. If I visit Osaka again, I would definitely consider staying here again.

The room was great and beautiful, and we could fully open our luggage. We came from the airport by JR, which was a bit far and difficult to walk, but once we checked in, we found three shopping areas nearby, including department stores and shopping streets, which was very convenient. It was also not far from the train station for transfers later. Overall, it's conveniently located near department stores and also has convenience stores, which is great.

The location is quite convenient. The hotel lobby has an elevator directly to the underground shopping street, and it's only about a 5 to 7-minute walk from there to the JR station.

The location is great, directly connected to Umeda Station's underground shopping area, which made getting around easy even in summer. The facilities and everything else were pretty standard for a Japanese business hotel, nothing too different, but the room itself was incredibly small. I've stayed in quite a few mid-range Japanese hotels, and this was probably the smallest room I've encountered. On the plus side, the bathroom didn't have a tub, but the shower area was separated by a partition, which was a nice touch.

The accommodation is conveniently located near JR and MRT stations. The hotel has an elevator inside the building, and it's very easy to access the subway directly from the hotel. The front desk staff provided excellent service.

For my recent trip to Osaka and Kyoto, I booked my Osaka accommodation through Trip.com. Unfortunately, I missed my flight and didn't arrive in Osaka until after 10 PM. I took a taxi directly from Osaka Station to what I thought was my hotel, only to find out that the address listed on Trip.com for this Ibis hotel was completely wrong. It was for a different Ibis in Osaka! After getting out of the taxi, the front desk informed us that our actual hotel was another 5-minute walk away. I was speechless. I had to drag my tired body further to find the correct hotel address. By the time I finally checked in, it was past 1 AM. I sincerely hope this issue can be improved to avoid causing trouble for future guests. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and polite. While the room was small, it had all the necessary amenities.

The hotel was very convenient as it was close to the station, convenience stores, and many restaurants. I was able to stay without being bothered by any noise, and the Umeda Sky Building was also nearby.
