We upgraded to a tent room, and it was incredibly clean and hygienic. All the toiletries, bath towels, and hand towels were single-use, which was very reassuring. What's truly worth mentioning is the water pressure – the shower was surprisingly powerful, making showering an absolute delight! The water pressure in the city hotels we stayed in the following days couldn't compare to this glamping site. The environment is simply fantastic, offering the quiet solitude of the entire desert. The ATV desert buggy ride takes you to a high peak, which is perfect for amazing photos. Sandboarding was a blast for the kids, and the travel photography captured the beauty of the whole beach without the crowds. Plus, the butler service was excellent – they responded promptly to all our questions and were always available, which was wonderful. Just a heads-up: it can get windy at night, and the tent makes some noise. I was a bit scared at first, but I eventually got used to it. For first-timers, you can sleep soundly; don't worry like I did! 😄

Unexpectedly comfortable! It's located on the east side of Mingsha Mountain, so you can even catch the sunrise in the morning. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends. **Butler Service:** Attentive and responsive throughout my stay. **Breakfast:** Considering it's in the desert where resources are limited, I totally understand and found it to be pretty good.

I'd always wanted to experience an overnight desert stay in Dunhuang, and after comparing the crowded campsites within Mingsha Mountain, I ultimately chose Shazhou Wilderness Luxury Camp. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The camp is located in a private desert hinterland, so there's no need to jostle with other tourists. The entire stretch of dunes and dried wood photo spots were ours to enjoy. We had unobstructed views of the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening, creating an incredibly atmospheric experience. We booked a tent room, which was incredibly picturesque. The interior space was sufficient, with a dry/wet separated bathroom, 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, and a refrigerator – all fully equipped. The bedding was clean and free of sand, and the toiletries were comprehensive. It's truly rare to find such living conditions in the desert. The camp offers its own activities, so there's no need to flock to scenic areas: The UTV desert off-roading was incredibly thrilling and exhilarating. The large, gentle slopes in front of the camp are perfect for free sandboarding, and sand-digging tools are provided free of charge, keeping children entertained for an entire afternoon and giving parents a break. I must especially commend the butler service. We had one-on-one assistance throughout our stay. Before check-in, they sent us directions and important information, and they were always available if we had any questions. I accidentally lost my iWatch en route, and at 3 AM, the butler drove me back into the desert to retrace our steps and search for it. They went through a lot of trouble, and I felt incredibly bad for them. They were also very responsive to everyday requests, quickly bringing water, extra blankets, and props. With children in tow, the entire stay was worry-free.

This place is absolutely amazing! The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly nice. They upgraded our room for free, and we didn't have to worry about ordering takeout since they brought it straight to our room. I was originally debating whether to visit Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake, but once I arrived, I didn't want to leave. The entire desert was practically empty, so we could sandboard as much as we wanted, and it was great for photos. We even watched the sunset, which was so peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend!

The service was great! They had already turned on the air conditioning in the room, so it wasn't hot when I arrived. The bed was very comfortable.

If you want to escape the crowds and immerse yourself in the desert, Shazhou Luxury Glamping is definitely the best choice. We checked in in the afternoon, and the butler service was excellent throughout our stay. They responded to WeChat messages instantly, and quickly and effectively resolved all our questions regarding airport pick-up, reservations, and general inquiries! In the evening, we went sandboarding and had an entire stretch of desert to ourselves – it was incredibly exhilarating! The travel photography staff were also very patient, and the photos turned out great ^_^ My child had a blast on the free ATV experience! There was also a desert night banquet in the evening, and cup noodles were provided in the room, catering to all preferences. They upgraded us to a tent room 🏕️ which was spacious and had excellent air conditioning, making for a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately, it was cloudy that night and rained in the early hours, so we didn't get to see the stars. However, on a clear, cloudless day, I'm sure the stargazing would be amazing. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!

Before coming, I saw some negative reviews about FM (presumably 'facilities/maintenance') and was quite worried. However, I decided to give it a try for a unique experience with my child. Upon arrival, all my worries disappeared. The hotel is located within Mingsha Mountain, so non-guests cannot enter, which provides good privacy. The air conditioning was already on when we arrived, and the staff were very warm and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. You can even order takeout to the hotel. If you're comparing it to a 4- or 5-star hotel, the facilities might fall a bit short, as it's more like a glamping site. But if you're looking for a different kind of experience, especially with kids, I highly recommend this place. My child absolutely loved running around freely in the desert; we didn't have to worry about a thing and just let them play. In the evening, there's a bonfire party where they even teach you a bit about the stars. All in all, my child had a fantastic time. The only downside is that it gets incredibly hot during the day, so I'd recommend waiting until after sunset to really enjoy the outdoor activities.

The room was lovely, and the facilities were quite complete. The view outside the room was absolutely stunning; you could watch the sunset and go sandboarding freely. However, the hotel activities were a bit limited, and the service response time was quite slow.

This is a real desert camping experience. There was absolute silence in the desert at night – truly a special experience. The butler service was excellent; I didn't have to lift a finger with my three suitcases, and any questions I had in the group chat were answered immediately. The dinner setup was very atmospheric, I'd definitely recommend dining here. The tent and RV facilities were all great, and the overall stay was comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the tent isn't blacked out, so it gets bright very early in the morning – I'd suggest bringing an eye mask. However, if you're looking for a true camping experience, some compromises are to be expected, and it's perfectly acceptable.
