Baltschug Kempinski Moscow

A wonderful hotel with a soulful atmosphere! The hotel's location is simply a dream, with the Kremlin and Red Square within walking distance. Zaryadye Park, the Tretyakov Gallery, and numerous cafes and restaurants are also nearby. The service is excellent, and the staff are genuinely caring. It was my first stay, and I loved everything. I got a very spacious room, and the comfortable mattress allowed me to get a good night's sleep after a long flight. The housekeeping was impeccable. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast; there was a huge selection, even including pancakes with red caviar, and Asian and halal dishes. I will definitely return when I have another trip to Moscow.

1. On the second night, the hot water was black, like rusty pipes, reddish-brown. The engineering department took half an hour to flush it until it ran clear. 2. The hotel only provides disposable slippers on the check-in day. 3. On the third night, despite explicitly requesting new bedding, it was not changed. 4. On the day of check-out, the phone rang three times without reason at 7 AM, 9 AM, and 10 AM, severely disturbing my rest. Considering all these issues, I was too tired to deal with problems every day after returning late to the hotel. The location is good, but you don't need to go to Red Square every day. I'd recommend a different hotel; this one is too old to recommend.

Terrible experience, the front desk service was awful. We were given a fake king-size room that didn't match the photos. It's all false advertising. I hope no one else gets scammed.
