Overall Rating: ★★★★★ (Service is perfect, environment could be four stars) We stayed at Wuxi Xuelang Songpin Hotel during the National Day holiday for a self-driving trip, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel was initially built and managed by Wanda, positioned as a top luxury hotel with a Jiangnan water town style. Later, due to well-known reasons, it is now managed by Sunac. The hotel covers a very large area, especially the villa area, which requires shuttle bus service – though, if you want to take a walk after dinner, it's perfectly fine. Walking around the grounds, you can clearly feel the hotel's past glory: the Jiangnan water town design with small bridges and flowing water, and the soft furnishings in the townhouses, all show the care taken during its creation. However, maintaining such a large Chinese-style hotel requires extremely high costs. In the current economic climate, many facilities lack maintenance, such as weeds in the river and dilapidated wooden bridges, which is somewhat regrettable. But what I particularly want to emphasize is that the hotel butler and all staff are trying their best to compensate for the shortcomings in the environment and facilities with their service, and this attitude is very commendable. The butler's WeChat and shuttle bus service are available 24 hours a day. The shuttle bus drivers are all very kind and proactively help guests with their luggage. Even under immense work pressure during the National Day period, you can still feel that they are doing their utmost to provide service. The room facilities are clean and tidy. We stayed in a lakeside single room this time, with a restroom on both the upper and lower floors, which is quite convenient in terms of design. The only minor drawbacks are that the TV is not a smart TV and the greenery in the courtyard lacks maintenance, but overall, it was still satisfactory. The breakfast selection is quite rich: Western options include bacon, sausages, and fried eggs, while Chinese options include red soup noodles, small wontons, tangyuan, and Wuxi xiaolongbao. Both the taste and the restaurant service were generally satisfying. Finally, I would like to specifically thank and commend the hotel butlers, security guards Qiana/Shay, Liu Ziyi, Cong Qiuhua, Chen Yechao, Guo Weihua, and all the staff. Even late at night, they went all out to help me search for my lost valuables, ultimately recovering them. This sense of responsibility is truly touching. I hope Songpin Hotel can receive sufficient investment in the future to regain its vitality. I also sincerely recommend it to friends who love the Jiangnan water town style and value service experience.

The hotel boasts a traditional Chinese garden style, and we stayed in a villa which had impressively high ceilings and a spacious two-story layout, perfect for families with children or even elderly guests. The service was excellent; the front desk staff were efficient during check-in and informative about the hotel facilities, and the concierge was prompt in delivering items and arranging shuttle services. A unique feature was the opportunity to experience a traditional black-awning boat, which could take you directly from the lobby to your room door. Overall, we were largely satisfied, but there were some cleanliness issues. For example, there were large, old stains on the sofa, and hair in the bathtub, which negatively impacted our experience. We stayed on two rainy days, making the evenings damp and dark. Surprisingly, there was no lighting at the entrance of our villa, which felt quite dangerous, especially for elderly guests and children. There's a small step from the entrance courtyard to the room, and not being able to see it in the dark was a real hazard. When I inquired, staff mentioned that the light wiring was old and had deteriorated over time. I suggest installing ground lights or other small lighting fixtures at the entrance, as other parts of the courtyard had some lights, indicating that wiring is feasible. The lack of lighting specifically near the steps, however, made it completely dark and is an area for improvement. Therefore, the overall facilities are dated and in need of renovation.

On the first day of the National Day holiday, the two-story villa was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was also refined. The butler service from Jasmine/Snow was convenient and efficient. The Sunac Ocean Park was quite mediocre. I hope the hotel can address the issue of apple snails!

The hotel environment is excellent, and my kids said they felt very comfortable. The staff were enthusiastic and proactively greeted us. The shuttle bus drivers also kindly opened doors and helped with luggage. The breakfast was delicious, and the butler was responsive and always ready to help with any requests!

Based on the rankings, this is the number one hotel in Wuxi. The entire hotel is very large, mostly individual villas, each with two floors and very high ceilings. The design is very charming. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, there were many guests checking in, and the front desk was crowded. However, the two young ladies handled the check-ins in an orderly manner and were very professional and polite. Since the hotel is so large, shuttle service is needed for getting around. Our butlers, Shay and Lucky, arranged it very quickly. Our takeout order was also delivered to the room promptly. The shuttle drivers were also very good. The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photoshoot. The photographer was very dedicated and paid close attention to the two elderly people throughout the shoot, which was very thoughtful. The ladies who helped us choose outfits and photos were also very kind. Overall, the stay was very pleasant.

I planned a trip just for this hotel, and Songpin Hotel was absolutely worth it. Arriving by boat directly to the property was an amazing experience. The hotel itself is grand, though it was a pity I didn't get to see the lotus leaves in full bloom. The room had high ceilings and was very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. Our personal butler was attentive and thoughtful, responding promptly to any requests. Pre-booking meals and choosing one of the four optional activities were all perfectly arranged (special thanks to Jasmine/Shay). The shuttle service was also very considerate; upon checkout, they dropped us directly next to our car in the underground parking, saving us the hassle of carrying luggage. I'll definitely come again.

The king-sized bed is so inviting, and the high-quality bedding makes you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud, truly a dream come true! The service here is exceptional; the butlers (including the front desk staff) are omnipresent and responsive. The shuttle drivers are attentive, providing seamless pick-up and drop-off services. Restaurant staff are quick and efficient, and the housekeeping team is meticulous. We love vacationing here; it's a place where you can genuinely relax and immerse yourself in your holiday. It's like a grand garden in itself, so there's no need to visit other attractions – this is truly a destination hotel experience.

The environment is top-notch and the service is excellent, especially our butler, Lucky, who was incredibly responsive and attentive to our every need. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends for another visit!
