Blossom House Yangshan Wuxi

This was my second stay at Wuxi Yangshan Hoshikawado. I first visited in winter with my partner and absolutely loved the duplex room with a private hot spring. Knowing it was pet-friendly, I specifically brought my two cats this time. The privacy of the duplex hot spring room is quite good. Since it's pet-friendly, the hotel even provides a pet breakfast. I personally think a 200 RMB charge per pet isn't expensive at all. The butler service was incredibly prompt; I just messaged the butler directly on WeChat for anything I needed. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Choosing this place was definitely the right decision!

To escape the typhoon over the weekend, I randomly picked this hotel near Shanghai, and it was incredibly relaxing and perfect for a getaway. I had originally booked a courtyard room with a private hot spring, but the front desk staff proactively upgraded me to a duplex suite. The hotel staff were all very attentive and friendly. The room was spacious, and the duplex suite had both an indoor and outdoor hot tub, which was super comfortable to soak in. The hotel environment is lovely, seemingly a villa complex, with its own park inside. The next morning, after breakfast, I went for a leisurely stroll to digest. The scenery was beautiful, and while walking, I serendipitously stumbled upon a lotus pond, which was a delightful surprise. However, I personally felt the breakfast wasn't very diverse; it paled in comparison to other hotels in the same price range and established local star-rated hotels I've stayed at. But my partner said this was considered a good breakfast for a HUAZHU Hotels Group property, which made me wonder if this is characteristic of HUAZHU. Overall, I highly recommend it. P.S. A heads-up for anyone planning to stay: the outdoor hot tub drains very slowly, so it's best to contact the hotel in advance to start draining it, otherwise, you'll be waiting for a long time.

Girls, if you're looking for a fun getaway, I found out Wuxi has HUAZHU Group hotels too! After a quick search, I decisively booked the Hanamura Saki (Hanamura Flower Field) resort on Yangshan Peach Blossom Island, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Everything was well-arranged, the service was top-notch, and it absolutely elevated our trip and vacation! Loved it, loved it! HUAZHU Group resorts are my top choice for travel and vacations! 🏨

Staying during the off-season was incredibly comfortable. The duplex hot spring room was spacious, well-lit, and fully equipped, with lots of complimentary items. The buildings are close together, making it easy to get around. The area isn't isolated either; you can order takeout and explore on foot. What I appreciated most about this stay was the service and hospitality. The front desk staff were always very thoughtful of guests, delivering items, communicating, and explaining everything perfectly, and patiently resolved any issues. The complimentary perks like the fruit platter, sweet soup, and free travel photography were a really nice touch. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance. PS: The breakfast and afternoon tea at the restaurant were just okay; I'd recommend ordering takeout instead. The entire hotel is very pet-friendly. Although I didn't bring a pet myself, I saw stray cats roaming around the hotel grounds, and there's a very cute Teddy dog at the front desk welcoming guests.

Yangshan is a bit off the beaten path in Wuxi, and this hotel, though not large, offers distant views of the Yangshan peaks. We received a free upgrade to a duplex room, which came with two private soaking tubs, one indoor and one outdoor. We informed the front desk in advance, and they filled them for us – just make sure to ask early! The water was a little hot, so we had to wait a bit before getting in. When filling the tubs, we noticed some bugs around the edges, likely due to the wooden construction, which they said makes it hard to keep them completely clean. The surrounding walls also showed some signs of mold. It would be much better if these issues were addressed. The two small dogs at the front desk are adorable, and the hotel is very pet-friendly with lots of thoughtful pet amenities. Breakfast was plentiful. The Peach Blossom Island scenic area is right next door, and it was lovely to take an early morning stroll there before the crowds, enjoying the peach blossoms in peace. It’s a great place to unwind and clear your head.

The staff were very friendly and even showed me to my room. Parking was super convenient as I could drive directly to my floor. Each floor has a 'mystery' entertainment feature that you have to discover yourself! And the breakfast noodles with soup? Absolutely incredible!!!!!

This hotel is nestled in nature, right next to Taohuadao Landscape Park, offering views of Yangshan Volcano National Geological Park. In the evenings, you can enjoy a beautiful light show. A daily stroll here is pure bliss and relaxation; the photos I took convey an indescribable joy to my friends. The hotel service is also outstanding; from the security staff and cleaners to the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant servers, everyone is genuinely polite and offers warm greetings. They are especially pet-friendly, even giving my dog a welcome goodie bag and providing delicious, nutritious meals daily. Life here is wonderful, with everything harmonizing beautifully with the scenic surroundings, creating a truly comfortable and pleasant experience. I'll definitely bring my dog back to enjoy another relaxing stay.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and the staff are incredibly warm and friendly. It's very pet-friendly too; they even prepared breakfast for our dog! We booked three rooms for our family trip with seniors, and the hotel thoughtfully upgraded two of our rooms so all three could be in the same area. We really appreciate that! We'll definitely be back during the Yangshan peach season in the summer.
