Hôtel & Spa le Bouclier d'or

Everything in this hotel is great right from the start. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. The location is also perfect, right in the heart of Petit France with many restaurants nearby and not far from Notre-Dame of Strasbourg Cathedral as well. The room is clean, spacious with comfortable bed. I had three well rested nights here and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Strasbourg.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend the spa, which was very relaxing.

We traveled around France, and stayed at multiple places. This, by far, was the highlight. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. We opted for breakfast and I'm glad we did. It was superb. The hotel offered a wide array of items, including: eggs and bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, sliced meats, crudités, and fresh pastries. Everything was fresh and nicely prepared, including the coffee, which was excellent.

Le Bouclier had great staff, a comfortable room, and a good breakfast. The restaurant on property was excellent for lunch and dinner too. The location was very nice, about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and in a quieter part of the main tourist neighborhood.

The hotel is beautiful, being a converted old mill gives it a very unique vibe. The room we had was spacious with a comfortable bed and large shower. It is located right by the”petite France” area meaning you are close to many restaurants and numerous cobblestone streets with 14th century buildings. You are a 5 minute walk to the Strasbourg Notre Dame church. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there!

A gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. There was nothing to fault with Le Bouclier D'or. Our deluxe room at the top of the hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in with plenty of space, everything we needed and being very comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.
