Very satisfied with the hotel stay. We switched from Suning Hotel to JW Marriott Hotel Wuxi, and the service quality improved significantly. The staff on the first floor were especially welcoming. A special thanks to Manager Ma for the excellent service—we were given a small gift, and the kids were thrilled.

Knowing that the former Suning Galaxy in Wuxi has been upgraded to the JW Marriott Hotel Wuxi, I made a special trip to check it out, and it certainly didn't disappoint—it's not just a simple rebranding, but a comprehensive upgrade in both hardware and software. The overall style of the guest rooms is much more upscale, featuring a well-thought-out layout and top-notch bedding for ultimate comfort. The biggest surprise was the attention to detail in the amenities: high-quality toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer. As someone with long hair, this was a game-changer—powerful airflow and fast drying mean no more struggling for ages with a weak, travel-sized dryer. I must give a shout-out to the location. Situated right in the downtown area of Liangxi District, Suning Plaza is downstairs, putting dining and shopping malls within walking distance. It's also very close to Wuxi Railway Station, making getting around extremely convenient for business trips and vacations alike. Special thanks to Allen at the front desk. During check-in, he proactively introduced the hotel facilities and the surrounding area. His response time was exceptional, addressing all requests promptly with both professionalism and warmth, which added immense value to the overall stay!

Great views from the high floor, and being right in the city center made getting around very convenient. The staff were also very warm and welcoming. The elderly members of our family were extremely satisfied. We stayed for two days, but it felt too short—the kids didn't want the trip to end.

Visiting Wuxi and staying at the JW Marriott was a terrible experience. I paid extra to book a renovated room on the 53rd floor or higher, but upon check-in, I was given an unrenovated room on the 52nd floor. After speaking with the front desk, I was upgraded to the 63rd floor. The staff's attitude was cold and rigid, with not a single apology offered the entire time. The facilities in the newly moved-in room were also subpar, falling completely short of JW Marriott standards. The soundproofing was abysmal. Starting around 6:00 AM, there was frequent dragging noises coming from upstairs. Around 9:00 AM, there was construction noise outside the door. The toilet area was cramped and inconvenient to use. It completely ruined my trip.

Huge thanks to our butler, Sophie, for her meticulous and thoughtful service throughout our stay. Any issues we had were promptly resolved, and the overall experience was fantastic. It added a lot of comfort to our trip and is highly recommended!

The environment and room view are both nice, except for the shower room which makes you afraid to use it. The gap under the door is too wide, so water easily overflows outside. If someone were to slip and fall, who would take responsibility? It’s a bit disappointing for this room rate.

The hotel was changed from Hyatt to JW, and JW's reviews are getting worse and worse. I stayed in a renovated floor, and it was still ridiculously bad—only partially renovated. The air conditioner made strange noises, and the showerhead completely missed the Marriott standard. It's totally Courtyard level, yet they charge JW Marriott prices. The facilities are far too outdated.
