The Positive: The hotel's public areas and art details are visually appealing. To create an “art hotel” is a nice idea. I also want to state clearly that I respect the on-ground team, who are clearly working hard under the given conditions. The Severe Major Negatives: This is rated as a 5-star hotel with an "AMAZING" tag on Trip.com. Our experience was very very far from that, primarily due to severely outdated facilities and noise issues. 1. Outdated Everything: The hotel has clearly not been renovated - even a bit - in 10 years. Upon checking, we found the mattresses in our twin room were 10 years old (can prove it) and had developed a significant sagging "center lying hole" from wear. We asked and they had no less worn out rooms or mattresses as alternative. This is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a 5-star property. The installations and rooms feel frozen in time (circa 2015), not in a charming "good old" way, but in a worn-out, tired way. 2. Severe Noise Pollution: Sound insulation in the room was very poor. We were deeply disturbed by the loud clubbing/party music from the hotel's rooftop bar and a nearby open-air club every evening until at least 10:45 PM. It was pervasive and unavoidable in the room. 3. Details Don't Match the Rating: · Breakfast: Having lounge access, we had breakfast there. The service was quite slow, as items seemed to be brought up from the main restaurant floor. It did not feel premium or efficient. And much work for the staff. · Rooftop Bar: Serving drinks in plastic cups at a 5-star hotel's rooftop bar significantly detracts from the atmosphere and quality perception. Overall Impression: The fundamental problem appears to be a lack of reinvestment by ownership/management. The Management and the Accor Group (as the potential owner) should be ashamed. They are failing both their customers and their dedicated staff by not maintaining the property. The hotel is living off its past design idea rather than maintaining a true 5-star standard. Why I'm Disappointed: 1. We trusted the Trip.com "amazing" evaluation and found a barely average experience due to old facilities, noise, and service that couldn't compensate for these foundational flaws. @TRIP.COM: a hotel without refurbishing for 10 years can be “amazing”? Please deeply reconsider your algorithms for evaluation. I would like to talk about that. 2. It feels like management/Accor Group is cashing out purely the hotel's past reputation without investing in its present. Providing 10-year-old mattresses is a shameful practice for a hotel at this price point and supposed rating. Advice to Travelers: If you are looking for genuine, current 5-star standard and quiet, look elsewhere. This hotel might suit you if design aesthetics or instagram are your absolute top priority and you plan to be out late, not minding noise or worn-out furnishings.

This hotel is conveiently located near tourist spots but off the busy buzz and noise. The room is clean, and the staff are friendly and service oriented. Breakfast spreads are wonderful and tasty. We love it here.
