The Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park and Botanical Garden is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction dedicated to rare wildlife education, conservation, breeding, sightseeing, and leisure. It serves as a panoramic natural museum showcasing the island-type tropical rainforest ecosystem and the essence of Hainan's flora and fauna.Established in 1995, Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park And Botanical Garden is located by the picturesque Dongshan Lake in Dongshan Town, Xiuying District, Haikou, just 27 km from downtown Haikou. Spanning over 1500 acres (including a 1300-acre animal viewing area), the park houses more than 100 rare animal species with over 2000 specimens, along with 280 families and 1000+ varieties of tropical plants, boasting 99% tropical forest coverage. Entering this attraction feels like stepping into a natural "oxygen bar," while exploring it offers visitors a rejuvenating "forest bath" experience.The park's views are entirely natural, with vast forests and dense vegetation creating an ideal habitat for wildlife. Attractions & experiences

The attraction is primarily divided into a driving safari zone and a walking safari zone. The driving safari zone breaks away from the traditional urban zoo concept of caged animals, instead allowing various predators to roam freely in their natural habitats. Visitors can drive through the predator zone, fully experiencing the unique sensation of "humans in cages while animals roam free."The star animals at the attraction mainly include: giant pandas (China's national treasure), Hainan eld's deer, Asian elephants, giraffes, African lions, Siberian tigers, ligers, white-cheeked gibbons, black bears, Père David's deer, macaques, hippopotamuses, black swans, flamingos, and more.The Flamingo Restaurant in the tropical rainforest attraction covers an area of 1,600 square meters and can accommodate over 600 diners simultaneously. Using fresh, natural ingredients, the restaurant primarily serves authentic Hainan local cuisine.
