Chimelong Penguin Hotel

The hotel is nestled amidst beautiful mountains, offering a great environment and convenient transportation. We checked in on my child's birthday, and the hotel staff decorated the room and even surprised us with a gift, a cake, and express passes for two attractions. Our room had direct access to the Ocean Kingdom, which was a short and easy walk. The park has a fantastic array of marine animals to see and plenty of thrilling rides. My child had an absolute blast, and we can't wait to come back again! 👍👍👍

The service was excellent, and they even gave us a free room upgrade. All the staff at the hotel were very polite and even gave us little gifts. The stay was very pleasant. It's very close to Ocean Kingdom, just a 5-minute walk away, and there are many activities to do inside. If you have young children, I highly recommend renting a stroller for a stress-free day!

Six years later, I brought my children and parents back for another vacation. Although the facilities aren't as new, the service and hygiene are still top-notch. This time, we were upgraded from a polar-themed room to a fireworks-viewing room, which offered a fantastic panoramic view. The buffet restaurant had a great variety of dishes that the kids loved. The butler service was also excellent; they promptly resolved many minor issues we encountered during our stay. Thumbs up! 👍

The mattress offers moderate support, and the pillows are soft and comfortable. The entire bedding set is clean and fresh. The Wi-Fi connection is consistently stable. The TV has a simple and elegant design. The wardrobe offers a good amount of storage space. The sofa is perfect for a short rest. The room's floor was meticulously cleaned. Tea is provided in the room, and all daily amenities are fully stocked. The bathroom area is dry and bright, and the hot water supply is responsive. It was a nice touch to receive a small gift upon check-out, thank you!

Different themed restaurants are spread across multiple floors, offering something for everyone: a themed buffet, a high-altitude Chinese restaurant with great views, and an affordable food court. The Kids' Zone is perfect for a quick break, serving a variety of desserts and drinks all day. On the ground floor, a cultural and creative shop sits next to a convenience store, making it easy to grab any last-minute essentials. The central fountain square features a light and sound fountain show daily, surrounded by various play facilities suitable for younger children. The Kids' Zone also has indoor educational equipment, ensuring fun regardless of the weather. Our room had a strong, playful design, and housekeeping did a thorough cleaning daily. Toiletries were fully stocked, and the bathroom was clean with separate wet and dry areas. The in-room WiFi was stable, the room was quiet and not noisy, and the air was fresh. Check-in and check-out were efficient and smooth. All staff members were polite and friendly. Common areas were regularly cleaned and maintained, and safety standards were strict. All travel needs can be well accommodated within the hotel.

Our long-planned trip to Zhuhai Chimelong finally led us to choose the Penguin Hotel as our base. It was incredibly convenient for getting around, and the kids absolutely loved it! The food caters to all ages, with a plentiful selection of kids' snacks, hot dishes, and desserts. Dishes were replenished promptly, so there were never long waits or empty trays. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with. They offer free luggage storage for early arrivals or late check-outs, which is a huge help for exploring without being weighed down. The mascot interactions in the hotel lobby were a big hit with the kids; they could take photos and play with the characters without having to wait in the park for shows. The hotel's central location within the resort makes getting to and from Ocean Kingdom a breeze, offering more freedom in planning our outings without spending a lot of time traveling. The entire service package is clearly geared towards families, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The whole trip felt easy and relaxed. If we visit Chimelong again, this hotel will still be our top choice.

Prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor play areas for children. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the internet is fast, and the front desk service is excellent. Plus, the Fireworks View rooms make it super easy to watch the fireworks.

Bringing my little one to Zhuhai Chimelong and staying at the Penguin Hotel was an absolutely brilliant decision. The hotel is right next to the Ocean Kingdom, with a private walkway that gets you into the park in just two or three minutes. Hotel guests also get early access an hour before opening, and it's so convenient to pop back to the room for a rest whenever we got tired. In the evening, strolling around to watch the fireworks was completely stress-free. Both the common areas and the rooms are adorned with adorable penguin-themed elements. They provide everything you could need for kids, including slippers, toothbrushes, bathrobes, toilet seat reducers, and bed rails. Even the shower height is thoughtfully designed for children. We also received a small toy and a picture book. At the Emperor Penguin Buffet, my child was thrilled to watch real penguins swimming through the glass, which really boosted their appetite! The food selection is extensive, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, dim sum, and seafood, ensuring adults can enjoy their meal too. The staff were all incredibly friendly and patient with children, and the room was spotless with soft bedding, and amenities were promptly replenished. In summary, the fantastic location and perfect family-friendly amenities made our trip with the kids so much easier and more relaxing. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit to Chimelong. Highly recommended for all families!
