Hyatt Regency Times Square

Two pluses and three minuses. First of all, the location is excellent and easy to find good food and shopping. Second of all, the water pressure is good for a refreshing shower. However, the info on the Trip.com website of Crown Plaza at Times Square is incorrect. There was no renovation in 2023. The rooms were not clean. We stayed in two rooms for four nights and we were greeted by one cockroach inside our room for one night. We also found stained bedsheet. Lastly, you need to call for service if you want bottled water. After a day of touring and we arrived back to the hotel late and called late, we waited for two hours and no bottled water delivery. We called again and they kept making excuses of coming soon. I had this experience for two late nights. For the second night, no service at all. Disappointing! I have used Trip.com for all hotel booking many years. This is the worst experience.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Yet the facilities were bit old. Also no buffet breakfast there. The bath was poor and it took like 10 min to get the water hot.

I booked the hotel through Trip.com for my niece only for her to arrived the hotel from LA and refused check-in. I requested for a refund of my $660 for the one night standard room only to be told the reservation is non- refundable. You didn’t provide the required service yet you want to. Hold back the money on the ground of non refundable booking meaning what???? My money must be refunded!
