First, the pros: the hotel's location is truly excellent, with countless restaurants nearby. You can walk to Fifth Avenue, Times Square, and even Central Park and Rockefeller Center. Right outside is the Broadway Chicago show venue, where you can walk in and buy tickets directly, often cheaper than third-party sites. However, there are also many other hotels in the vicinity to choose from. Now for the cons, we were very dissatisfied with the room amenities: 1. The wooden frame at the bed corners is very easy to bump your legs on. Both my family and I hit it multiple times. Families with children should definitely warn them. 2. The soundproofing is terrible; you can clearly hear conversations from next door. The building is by the road, and we could still hear music after midnight. 3. The bathroom is extremely small. They even put a bathtub in the shower area, which is incredibly low – the photos show it's much shorter than the toilet. It's definitely not suitable for soaking; you can only stand to shower. The tub is sloped and has no non-slip mat. While bending over to adjust the water temperature, my foot slipped, and I fell heavily. The shower faucet handle requires you to turn it from cold to hot, meaning the water is initially very cold, and you can't adjust the temperature before turning it on. Plus, it's set at a low height, which is very unreasonable. After my fall, I had a swollen bump on my head and a bruise on my thigh. I called the front desk to report the issue, and a security guard arrived quickly. After I explained what happened, he said he would report it upstairs and asked if I wanted to go to the hospital. Since I had plans to take my child to an activity that day, and although it hurt a lot, thankfully, I didn't break the skin, I told him I'd go to the hospital later if it got worse. I also mentioned that the bathtub was very slippery without a non-slip mat and that the shower facilities were poorly designed. Whether the hotel improved things afterward is unknown; anyway, no non-slip mat or any hotel first-aid supplies were sent until I checked out. 4. Additionally, the room does not provide a coffee machine or tea bags. As a Trip.com Black Diamond member who has stayed in countless hotels both domestically and internationally, this is the first time I've encountered a four-star hotel with such poorly designed and potentially dangerous facilities. I'm sharing this in hopes that others can avoid it. If you've already booked a room, please be very careful.

I have stayed in at least 4 to 5 hotels in the Times Square area and this one is by far the best one I stayed in. The location is perfect and the room is very clean. The decor is also very new. Reception staff are all very helpful and polite

The hotel's location is great, making it easy to get around. However, the room lacked basic amenities like a coffee maker and even glasses. It was also very noisy; I could constantly hear police cars and ambulances passing by downstairs, along with elevator sounds and doors slamming shut. The soundproofing is really poor.

Great location, just a few steps from Times Square and close to Broadway theaters. The check-in staff were lovely; they allowed an early check-in and waived the fee.

This hotel seems to be a renovated old property. The location is very convenient, and the room itself is quite good. However, the breakfast isn't great value for money.

Don't expect much from the service!!! Don't expect much variety at breakfast either!!! I booked a room with a 1.5m twin bed, which was comfortable and big enough, though the room itself was a bit small. The check-in process was very mediocre. The breakfast buffet wasn't good at all, with very few options – a typical Western breakfast. The most frustrating part was that I booked three nights with breakfast included. On the first day during check-in, I was told my room didn't include breakfast. I showed them my confirmation email and even sent it to their email. After they checked with the manager, they confirmed it was included. The next morning, when I went for breakfast, they told me again that it wasn't, saying that the travel agency (Ctrip) hadn't paid them or confirmed with them, and hadn't sent more booking details. They told me to contact Ctrip myself. I immediately contacted Ctrip, and they resolved my issue quickly with excellent service. I went back to the front desk, and they still said no breakfast. I ended up eating breakfast first and then went back to sort it out. I waited for so, so, so long. Regardless of where the problem lay, Ctrip provided solutions and excellent service, while Hyatt was extremely perfunctory.
