Grand Bay Hotel Zhuhai

Fantastic! First, the location is superb. It's nestled at the foot of General Mountain, very secluded yet not out of the way. It's right by Lovers' Road and not far from Gongbei Port, making dining and transportation incredibly convenient. Second, the facilities are excellent, and the sea view room exceeded my expectations. Finally, the service was top-notch. Even in the scorching heat, the parking attendant thoughtfully put a sunshade on my car.

I've been here a few times now, and the facilities are great, and the location is superb. But what really makes me choose this place every time is Manager Amy. She always helps arrange the room perfectly and even booked dinner reservations for me. She's incredibly responsive and thoughtful. This time, I happened to catch their dinner buffet opening, and the overall quality was decent, though the preparation felt a bit lacking. First, the opening time was half an hour later than what was stated on the platform. Then, they forgot to include us in an event. When we first went in, there were only a few tables, and I saw some pretty good abalone, but then it disappeared and never reappeared. The shrimp also ran out and couldn't be refilled. After that, the herring roe was gone, and the salmon was gone just over an hour after opening. For a seafood buffet, aren't shrimp and salmon basic offerings? The freshly carved tuna looked impressive. Drink options were limited, not as many varieties as at breakfast. The plated dishes tasted good though.

The hotel staff who assisted us during this stay, Amy, Abby, Jan, Isla, and Crystal, were all wonderful. Despite a small hiccup, our overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended!

I wholeheartedly give the Grand Bay Hotel a full five-star rating. For this family trip, we booked three rooms, and every aspect of our stay was filled with thoughtful details. I must commend each and every one of the staff for their attentiveness and dedication. During check-in, Front Desk staff Xiao Zhou and Xiao Tan, upon learning that our group included seniors and children, were incredibly enthusiastic and went back and forth to coordinate, making a special effort to arrange all three rooms on the same floor. This saved us the hassle of running back and forth, making it much more convenient to look after the elderly and children. This thoughtful arrangement made our entire party feel extremely comfortable. We had purchased a package that included the buffet dinner, and during meal times, Xiao Pan at the restaurant proactively and thoughtfully reserved a suitable dining area for us, away from the crowded sections. This allowed our entire family, old and young, to leisurely enjoy their meals, significantly enhancing our dining experience. When it came time to check out at the end of our trip, we accidentally left behind two water bottles and didn't even notice until after we had left. Fortunately, Manager Luo meticulously noticed the items and properly kept them safe for us. If we ever return to Zhuhai, we can retrieve them at any time. From the front desk coordinating rooms and the restaurant thoughtfully arranging seating, to helping us store forgotten items after check-out, every employee at this hotel considers problems from the guest's perspective. The service is far from a rigid, procedural task; genuine sincerity runs through the entire experience. This hotel has already become my top choice for accommodation when visiting Zhuhai, and it's also our third year choosing it for our travels! I highly recommend the Grand Bay Hotel to everyone.

Excellent! The hotel proactively upgraded my mountain view room to a stunning sea view room. The service was also very attentive and thoughtful. The room was large and comfortable, and the hotel is located right on Lovers' Road with many restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhuhai.

Although it's an older hotel, the rooms are very comfortable after the renovation. Both the room and bathroom have floor-to-ceiling windows with a sea view. It's only a three or four bus stops away from Gongbei Commercial Zone, which is very convenient.

Upon entering, the security guard saluted and proactively asked if we needed help with our luggage, even chatting warmly for a bit. It immediately made us feel valued. Seeing we had a child, the front desk thoughtfully prepared kids' toiletries and slippers for us. Every single staff member smiled throughout our stay, and their attention to detail was truly unforgettable. It was a stay where we felt genuinely cared for. The hotel breakfast coffee was good too.

I rarely write reviews, and I'm not a big fan of it, but this hotel truly deserves an exception. The hotel was recently renovated, so it's bright and clean overall, making a great first impression. While the room wasn't huge, it was perfectly spacious for our family of four. We even got upgraded to a sea view room. The bathroom had excellent natural light, and the wet/dry separation was well-done, making the space feel more generous than expected. My only minor suggestion would be to add disposable toilet seat covers for a perfect touch. The disposable slippers provided were arguably the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel – thick and with a wonderfully soft, 'stepping-on-clouds' feel, which was a real plus. I especially want to mention the birthday decorations, the cake arrangement, and the longevity noodles the hotel specially prepared for us during breakfast. These thoughtful details truly showed their warmth and attentiveness. In terms of service, from the moment we got out of the car, a doorman was there to open the door for us, and all staff members greeted us proactively. When we asked for directions, a hotel staff member even walked us to our destination, which was incredibly considerate. The kids' club had dedicated supervision, allowing adults to relax worry-free, and the spa experience was also excellent. In short, this hotel is highly recommended, especially for family travel. We will definitely be back!

I really loved the Seaview Hotel. First off, we had a room with a beautiful sea view, and we could even see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge in the distance. It was a short taxi ride to Gongbei, and also very close to tourist spots like Lovers' Road and Yeli Island in the city. The local seafood in Zhuhai was incredibly delicious. During my few days in Zhuhai, it rained constantly due to a typhoon, and my clothes got soaked. However, the hotel service was truly excellent; they even offered free clothes drying. We also used the complimentary roast duck voucher at the Cantonese restaurant on the second floor, which saved us a lot of money. The breakfast on the first floor was abundant, and the environment was lovely. If I ever get the chance to visit Zhuhai again, I would definitely choose the Seaview Hotel for its incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. The hotel's own children's playground also kept the little ones thoroughly entertained!
