Blossom House Pingjiang Road Suzhou

This hotel, converted from an old courtyard, offers a taste of the Jiangnan literati aesthetic. It's very close to Pingjiang Road, and in the early morning, Pingjiang Road sheds its nighttime hustle and bustle, its crowded streets, revealing a true sense of tranquility.

Our beloved dog, battling a terminal illness, was on borrowed time, so we chose Tanhuafu for a special getaway, hoping to give her a novel and enjoyable experience. Once again, it didn't disappoint; the experience was absolutely perfect! This was our second stay at Tanhuafu, and we truly adore it. The feeling of staying in an ancient, charming courtyard residence is wonderful. On our first day, we barely left the compound, simply playing with our dog within the estate. All the staff were incredibly gentle and polite; even when we ran into them outside, the front desk young man would greet us. The hotel is about a two to three-minute walk from the parking lot, and the staff kindly assist with transfers and luggage, which is very thoughtful. It's a shame that Fennel Restaurant is no longer open; I used to find it delicious and convenient, easily comparable to outside restaurants. Our dog crossed the rainbow bridge on September 3rd, but this last trip will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you to all the staff at Tanhuafu for two days of wonderful care.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Pingjiang Road. Upon arrival, the staff warmly greeted us and helped with our luggage. The room was very spacious and had a distinct Suzhou garden charm. The daily breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and we even received complimentary desserts every evening. The service was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay.

I really love places with this kind of old-world charm. You get a unique experience here, and it's definitely worth it.

The environment here is uniquely charming, truly standing out in the Pingjiang Road area. It's rich in cultural heritage, and the courtyard is incredibly quiet. Despite being so peaceful, it's also super close to the main attractions; you can easily walk to the Humble Administrator's Garden and Pingjiang Road. Even if you have a short stay, you won't regret choosing this place, as the hotel itself offers so many beautiful and atmospheric spots for photos. It's even more stunning if you happen to visit on a rainy day.

The hotel is very close to Pingjiang Road. Due to its location, you need to walk about 2 minutes to the alley entrance to catch a car. I personally think the breakfast from the two partner restaurants was delicious, although my kids prefer a buffet. But when you're traveling, it's all about embracing local customs. A special shout-out to all the staff. They helped with luggage at check-in and check-out, were very responsive during our stay, and met all our personalized requests. The sweet soup was also excellent.
