Blossom House Pingjiang Road Suzhou

Traveling with kids, this B&B was really unique. The owner was super helpful, making our vacation comfortable and enjoyable.

The environment here is uniquely charming, truly standing out in the Pingjiang Road area. It's rich in cultural heritage, and the courtyard is incredibly quiet. Despite being so peaceful, it's also super close to the main attractions; you can easily walk to the Humble Administrator's Garden and Pingjiang Road. Even if you have a short stay, you won't regret choosing this place, as the hotel itself offers so many beautiful and atmospheric spots for photos. It's even more stunning if you happen to visit on a rainy day.

The hotel is very close to Pingjiang Road. Due to its location, you need to walk about 2 minutes to the alley entrance to catch a car. I personally think the breakfast from the two partner restaurants was delicious, although my kids prefer a buffet. But when you're traveling, it's all about embracing local customs. A special shout-out to all the staff. They helped with luggage at check-in and check-out, were very responsive during our stay, and met all our personalized requests. The sweet soup was also excellent.

Staying at the Tanhuafu Hotel this time was an amazing experience that truly elevated my entire trip. First off, the location is absolutely superb. It's right next to Pingjiang Road and just a short walk to Guanqian Street, yet it maintains a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere despite being in a bustling area. Secondly, the hotel's environment is beautiful. It truly is the mansion of a former 'Tan Hua' (a high-ranking scholar), with gorgeous garden scenery. The guest room experience was also excellent, with a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional ancient architecture. Finally, let's talk about the service, which was outstanding. Breakfast was delivered to my room, and a sweet soup was brought in the evening. The staff were always smiling and warm, and almost always accommodated any request. It was a wonderful experience. They even gave me a farewell gift! Haha, I've already booked to bring my parents next month for another stay. From now on, whenever I'm in downtown Suzhou, this will be my go-to place.

The location is superb, right by the bustling Pingjiang Road, making it convenient for getting around while still offering a quiet retreat. The hotel itself is an ancient mansion from the Qing Dynasty, full of antique charm. The rooms are spacious, and according to the butler, they were renovated a few years ago, so they still look very new. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant; instead, breakfast is arranged at the local specialty spot, Xin Zhenyuan. The set meal includes pan-fried jumbo shrimp buns, mini wontons, and soy milk, which were all delicious! The best part of this experience was definitely the butler service – prompt and accommodating! Since the hotel is in an alley where cars can't reach the entrance, a staff member will help you carry your luggage to a spot where you can catch a taxi. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Suzhou!

Exceeded my expectations! This hotel is a beautifully crafted Suzhou-style garden, with charming bridges and flowing water – every step is picturesque. You can even take photos in the garden, so there's no need to brave the crowds outside. The staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly polite, proactively helping with luggage. The front desk even sent a welcome fruit platter and complimentary mung bean soup. Next time I'm in Suzhou, this will be my top choice!
