Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai

Really well maintained hotel with excellent services.

The buffet breakfast is good. Included middle eastern cruisine. The bath towel was a little dirty. Hair from previous use is left on the towel.

We booked a stay at the Sheraton Grand Dubai to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and what a fun and memorable experience it was! We visit Dubai several times a year but had never stayed here before. Our daughter, who lives in Dubai, suggested after she enjoyed a pool day, and it turned out to be a brilliant idea. The food was really great, the staff were outstanding, and the service throughout was exceptional. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, everything about the stay was perfect. We couldn’t find a single thing to fault. Highly recommend the Sheraton Grand Dubai — we’ll definitely be back!

I was supposed to stay there for 13 nights but I decided to shorten my stay and leave after 5th night. My first room had an issue with shower. The pressure of water was very low that you could barely take shower and it would take minimum 30-45 mins in order to take complete shower. After 3rd night I asked them to change my room because of that. They gave me another room. On the middle of the night around 2:30-3AM I woke up with heavy cigarette smell in my room which was smoke free facility. I called and complained. So, the security and the manager in charge came to my room to confirm and I after that they changed my room one more time. Now I was in my 3rd room in 4th day. I post the photos of my uninvited guest at that room. When I woke up on my 5th day being at this hotel I saw a cockroach running around in my room. That was the moment I decided to leave. And worse when I asked for my remaining nights reimbursement they refused to pay me back. I’m sure that I won’t go back and stay at this hotel anymore, and it’s up to you whether you wanna stay there or not. Maybe you get better experience than mine.

You will not be disappointed staying in the Sheraton Grand. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay from the moment I arrived to my departure. The hotel is conveniently located a 15 minutes drive from the airport, and a 5-10 minute walk to the metro which is linked to downtown Dubai, approximately taking 20-30 minutes in total to reach the Burj Khalifa. Breakfast was exceptional, with a very extensive selection, and excellent customer service throughout. All the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive. Beautiful rooftop pool and great gym. I would definitely stay here again.
