Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai

A Good Location, but Room for Improvement The Sheraton Grand Hotel is in a convenient location, with the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall not too far away. The staff were nice, and I particularly liked the mirrors in the passageways. It’s a cute touch, especially for guests who enjoy taking pictures. However, a few things were disappointing. We requested a fork and spoon and were told that we would have to pay for them. This was unexpected, as I would normally expect a hotel to accommodate such a simple request, even with disposable cutlery. It felt a little unnecessary. Another issue was the unpleasant smell coming from the shower area. It had a stale, foul odour that made the bathroom less comfortable to use. We even wondered whether keeping the door open would help, but the smell was still a concern. Overall, the hotel has a good location, friendly staff, and some nice little touches, but the experience could have been better with more thoughtful service and better attention to the bathroom’s freshness and cleanliness.
