The staff are very friendly. The facilities are old and a bit dated, but otherwise, I'm satisfied. The room and living room are larger than in the photos.

Excellent welcome, the staff is fantastic! Located a few minutes' walk from the Hollywood Highland subway station and the Walk of Fame. Convenient for getting to Universal Studios as well as Downtown, El Pueblo, and Little Tokyo. Very convenient by car for getting to the Griffith Observatory and Beverly Hills. Secure paid parking. Free laundry facilities. Simple but adequate breakfast, and especially very good coffee. Spacious apartment, but lacking in kitchen equipment. Needs a good renovation, as everything is outdated. The sofa bed is uncomfortable, but the bed in the bedroom is very good. Strong, unpleasant odor in the apartment, really bothersome throughout our stay.

I stayed here for 3 nights and let me talk about the advantages. Coffee, ice cream and all you can drink drinks. There is no charge for laundry. Clothes can be picked up around 10 o'clock the next day or delivered to the room. The swimming pool is heated and open 24 hours a day. I also had it during breakfast this morning. There is a magic show to watch. The downside is that the room smelled very bad... I smelled it right after I checked in, so I asked the front desk to change rooms for us. After changing rooms, there was still a smell that felt like cat urine.

The staff at this hotel deserve a 5 star rating. They are the best. They can’t do enough for you. From the free snacks, breakfast, and free laundy they can’t do enough for you. Just amazing. The actual room though is less than impressive. The floor is all uneven, the toilet leaks and the shower blocks every time you shower. We could hear every footstep of the people above us which was frustrating while trying to sleep. If you want amazing service with awesome treats stay here. But if you are wanting modern nice rooms this isn’t the place for you.

Excellent stay at the Magic Castle. Staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. All the services on offer makes this hotel a fantastic choice to stay at. Free laundry, snacks, soft serve, popsicles and the best popcorn we have ever had. Hotel has aged over time but it is a charming Hollywood motel that has so much character and a wonderful management team behind it.
