Tokyu Stay Shibuya

The room was tiny. The hotel is closer to the Keio Inokashira Line but quite far from the Yamanote Line. It takes at least 15 minutes to get to Shibuya Station. On the first day we arrived, we had to pull two large suitcases up a steep hill to reach the hotel. It was very inconvenient. I can’t imagine doing this while traveling with kids and carrying big luggage. The location is decent, with many restaurants nearby, but I also noticed a lot of clubs and love hotels in the area. Sometimes I saw drunk people standing on the street and talking loudly when I walked back at night. Just be cautious if you stay out late and return to the hotel. The soundproofing is really bad. You can hear a lot of noise from other guests. On the last night, someone in the room upstairs was moving around and packing their luggage all night. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise. In addition, the hallway is very narrow. You have to be careful when walking back to your room. My husband almost got hit when a child suddenly opened the door forcefully. The door opens directly into the hallway, which is a poor design choice. The only thing I liked was the washer and dryer in the room, which made it convenient to do laundry. All the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I personally don’t feel the stay was worth the price. I probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel or book it again.

Design is super simple and neat, having washing machine is a plus.

The hotel staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. We like the convenience stores opposite our hotel especially easy to buy and cooked food inside our room ourselves. Additionally, we also like the washing machine inside our room at our own convenience.

Great stay with a lot of amenities. Washer dryer microwave and refrigerator all in the room.
