Moscow Marriott Imperial Plaza Hotel

I stayed here before leaving for St. Petersburg early the next morning. It's close to a currency exchange, and the subway and train stations, which are popular tourist routes, are right next to each other, just a 5-minute walk away. All the staff spoke English, so there were no communication issues, and it was great that plenty of towels were provided.

There were no tissues in the room, and the mini-fridge seemed locked, so I couldn't access the drinks. The restaurant on the first floor doesn't accept credit cards; you have to pay in Russian rubles cash. They wouldn't even take Chinese Yuan or US dollars, which is incredibly inconvenient. It seems you need to bring plenty of rubles cash if you plan to eat at the Moscow Marriott Imperial Plaza Hotel!

Booked a room in this hotel as we're hitting the road again tomorrow from Kazan Station. The location is super convenient. Check-in took no more than 5 minutes, which was fantastic after a long flight. Sofia was very kind, thank you! Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the fitness center as we were too tired. Everything is clean. All necessities are available in the room. 10 out of 10.

My first trip to Russia, and it was a great stay. The hotel is very close to Leningradsky railway station, about a 10-minute walk. It's only a few metro stops from Red Square. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the restaurant was beautiful with lovely Russian background music (I even added some to my own playlist). The staff were very friendly. The front desk was always helpful and accommodating. The room decor was beautiful, perfectly fitting Russian aesthetics. The only downsides were a strange odor in the room, possibly due to old plumbing, and I would suggest providing more bottled water daily. Two bottles aren't enough, and I had to call the front desk every time I needed more.

Good day! This is a wonderful hotel, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the deluxe room. The shower was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. As for the negatives: they forgot to clean the room (but it was quickly resolved).

If you're not factoring in travel time and mainly using the metro or catching a train, this hotel is definitely the top choice. Everything about it is incredibly comfortable – English-speaking front desk, Chinese-language tip sheets, and breakfast that meets five-star hotel standards, even with Chinese labels. It truly feels like a friendly hotel for Chinese travelers. The facilities are from 2023, and the room is very spacious, with a sofa that could easily accommodate a child. I've booked hotels in Russia at similar price points, and this one is arguably the best! The value for money is also exceptional. Highly recommend!

We chose this hotel as a transit stop in Moscow. The first time, everything was satisfactory, so we stayed again on our way back, even though the price had gone up. The location is convenient – close to Three Stations Square (10-15 min walk). Easy access for taxis. We expected more variety from the breakfasts, but overall, we really enjoyed it. The rooms are cozy!
