This was my first stay at the Shuxiang Inn right in Shantang Street, and I was very satisfied with all aspects of their service. The food was clean, hygienic, and delicious, and the afternoon tea was excellent – I can't praise it enough! The accommodation was comfortable and spacious, and the location was super convenient. It's definitely a great choice for anyone visiting Suzhou.

The environment is fantastic; the hotel is designed in the classic Suzhou garden style, exuding an elegant江南(Jiangnan) charm. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even offering luggage assistance, which was super convenient. Its location right within Qili Shantang is perfect for sightseeing. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Perfect for families with kids! The ambiance is fantastic and great for photos. Its excellent location right inside Shantang Street means you can step right out and explore. Breakfast offers a good variety of dishes too. But the real highlight is the amazing service – the staff are incredibly attentive. They can even help you book boat tickets, and the server recommended some great places to eat. It was a wonderful stay, and I'd definitely choose this place again if I get the chance.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Suzhou so far. First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's right inside Shantang Street, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient street, taking boat rides, and dining. Getting to attractions like the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum by taxi is also very quick and hassle-free. While it's lively outside, the moment you step into the hotel, it becomes wonderfully quiet – truly an oasis of calm amidst the bustling city. The hotel itself is designed in the traditional Suzhou garden style, with a beautiful courtyard and its own lotus pond. Taking a morning stroll around it really brings a sense of peace. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with no unpleasant odors. The staff were also incredibly attentive and helpful, from check-in to check-out. They were genuinely warm and responsive to any questions or issues we had, which made us feel very well taken care of, without it feeling forced. Breakfast and the restaurant also deserve praise. They offered authentic Suzhou specialties that tasted delicious, and my entire family thoroughly enjoyed the meals. If I ever come back to Suzhou, I would definitely stay here again. The kids didn't want to leave!

Had a fantastic experience! The location is great, right on the main street of Shantang Old Town, and the pier is just 50 meters away. The environment is lovely, peaceful yet close to the action, and it even has its own small, charming courtyard. Facilities are excellent, very clean and tasteful, and the food is abundant and delicious. The service was outstanding—staff were warm and attentive. The laundry service was very convenient, and we could even borrow qipaos and Hanfu for free. They even helped my child print their homework! The only downside is the lack of twin rooms, which might be inconvenient for those who prefer not to share a bed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you to all the staff!
