Taiqing Scenic Spot

Taiqing Attraction is located at the southeast end of Laoshan Mountain. It is named after the Taoist temple Taiqing Palace. It is mainly divided into two tourist areas: the Souvenir Taiqing Palace and along the Bashui River. The former is located on the seaside, and the latter is a mountain climbing route. The Attraction is mainly characterized by "Taoist Holy Land", "Little Jiangnan Plant Area" and natural sea stone wonderland. Taiqing Palace is a Taoist temple with a long history and large scale in Laoshan. It is said that it was built in the first year of Jianyuan in the Western Han Dynasty (140 BC) and has a history of more than 2,100 years. Taiqing Palace is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side. Because it is surrounded by giant peaks in the distance and seven peaks nearby, it blocks the cold air from the north in winter, thus forming a unique subtropical microclimate and microenvironment. Therefore, there is neither cold winter nor hot summer, it is mild and humid, with lush plants and a wide variety of species, so it is called "Little Jiangnan".
