Yueshang Mountain Viewing Courtyard

We enjoyed the stay to the fullest. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. As soon as we arrived, he served us with hot tea and organic peaches. He gave us tips on the area, and he knew the best deals. The hotel was clean, and the view was amazing. The hotel was located not too far from the entrance of Ancient City, which made it easy to walk to. He also gave us a free room upgrade, which had a great view of the scenery. Other than that, he helped book us a ride back to the train station at a much cheaper rate. I would definitely recommend this place to others 😁

really really nice host and good service, very helpful with how to go to attractions and offered service and help with room cleaning and supplies. gave us tea when we first arrived and could store our luggage for a few hours. nice room but window faces a shared corridor, which can be disruptive and soundproofing is pretty bad. ventilation limited. good view and good location. but to take taxi need to walk out a few minutes.

After two incredible days exploring Lijiang’s ancient cobblestone alleys and vibrant night markets, I have decided to extend my stay by one additional day. The charm of the Old Town, with its winding canals and timeless Naxi culture, has truly captured my heart. While the past two days allowed me to visit the iconic Black Dragon Pool and stroll along Sifang Street, I realize that one more day is needed to fully appreciate the surrounding beauty. Specifically, I take a day trip to the serene Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, whose peaks have been teasing me from a distance. A final evening wandering the quieter, lantern-lit lanes would also allow for a deeper connection to this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Ideally located in the old town, and it's close to a road where cars can drop you. Requires a bit of carrying if you have big luggages. Cleanliness could be better but it's okay for the price.

Convenient location close to a road for taxis, awesome location with a balcony overlooking the ancient city, and a comfortable and homely room. It is easy to head downhill towards the Four Corner Street (四方街) of the ancient city, and a generally quiet location away from the noise. The host is friendly and can help to recommend good places to visit. Will return to stay as rooms are as like the pictures, and I enjoyed the daily breakfasts of congee and rice noodles with egg.

The location is great. It is easy to find places to eat, and many attractions are within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore the area. One thing to note is that the streets around the hotel are paved with rough stone, which can make it difficult to roll luggage. Although the hotel provides a luggage-carrying service, it may not be available if you leave very early in the morning, so you may need to handle your luggage yourself.
