Seine House Harbin

The hotel's location is excellent. We were traveling with our child, so we appreciated the spacious room which made our stay very comfortable. The hotel staff, all very attractive, were incredibly attentive and even gave our child a small gift. We're very satisfied!

The hotel is tucked away on Tongjiang Street, just behind Central Avenue, about an 8-10 minute walk away. The location is excellent, with St. Sophia Church, Stalin Park, the Songhua River, and Parkson Shopping Center all nearby! It's an absolutely fantastic spot. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants around. I highly recommend the 'Tie Guo Dun' (iron pot stew) next door – specifically the 'xiaoguo hubing' (small pot stew with pancakes) – which was a recommendation from the hotel's front desk staff. For a 'Southern potato' like me, the flavor might be a little strong, but it's really good! The chicken feet were so tender they melted in your mouth. From the lobby to the rooms, there's a faint floral scent. For a family trip, the room size is perfectly adequate for a family of three. Details like toothbrushes and shampoo are all provided, and if you need anything, just call the front desk and they'll bring it right away – the service is superb! The rooms are never cold; the temperature is just right for sleeping at night! It was my first time experiencing the heating system here in Northeast China, and it was very comfortable! For breakfast, we had the hotel's in-house breakfast, which is Russian cuisine on the first floor. We chose the fried noodles, and the noodles had a perfect texture. Everyone should give it a try! The hotel staff described it as 'New Chinese Russian cuisine'! It was my first time trying it and it was delicious!! Arriving in Harbin, I immediately felt the snow falling! Very lucky! I took so many photos of the snowy scenery!

Housed in an old Russian-style building, the hotel boasts an excellent location close to the metro station and the Songhua River. They even upgraded my room for free! The room was spacious and warm. The Russian breakfast was fantastic. Overall, a great stay!

I went with my parents and children, and the location is excellent. It's close to Central Street and Hongzhuan Morning Market, both within walking distance. It's also near the Songhua River. Downstairs there's a very popular Russian restaurant that often has a queue; you might want to give it a try.

I stayed in Harbin for several days and tried different hotels, and this was by far the most comfortable one. It's right next to Central Street, just a few minutes' walk to the Flood Control Monument. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. One minute they were helping us print some documents, the next they were bringing us a sewing kit – never once did they seem annoyed or impatient. While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, the famous Hongzhuan Morning Market is just a two-minute walk away. That's where all the locals eat, and for about 10-20 yuan, you can eat until you're absolutely stuffed. We stayed in a family room with two twin beds and one king-size bed, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was just the right size and even had a bathtub, which was perfect for a warm soak after a cold day out. It's only a 10-minute walk to the Carnival on Ice at Stalin Park, which has tons of activities. If you missed out on the slides at the Harbin Ice and Snow World, this place offers a fun alternative. There are also many restaurants nearby, all with local prices and no tourist traps. If you enjoy strolling along Central Street in the evening or visiting St. Sophia Cathedral, this hotel is truly ideal. The lady in the picture was particularly lovely, and of course, all the other staff members were great too. For dining, the nearby Iron Pot Stew is good, and Xichuan BBQ is also worth a visit.
