Yuntaishan is a national scenic spot, one of the first national 5A-level tourist Attraction and one of the first world geological parks. It is located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, at the southern foot of Taihang Mountain and the intersection of Henan and Shanxi provinces, with a total area of ​​more than 50 square kilometers. Yuntaishan has eight scenic spots, including Hongshi Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, Macaque Valley, Zhuyu Peak, Diecai Cave, Wanshan Temple, and Zifang Lake. It is a comprehensive scenic spot with rift valley structure, hydrodynamics and geological landscape as the main features, supplemented by natural ecology and cultural landscape, and featuring interlaced peaks and valleys, cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams and pools, and integrating aesthetic value and scientific value.

Yuntaishan is famous for its amazing mountains and waters, majestic peaks and secluded gorges, and has a variety of different scenery. In spring, the mountain flowers are in full bloom, in summer, waterfalls flow, in autumn, the leaves are red like fire, and in winter, the scenery is covered with snow. Here, you can appreciate the majestic mountains and rivers of the north and the beauty of the water towns in the south.

The Attraction houses the Hongshi Gorge, one of the world's most unique gorges; the Yuntai Waterfall, which has the largest drop in Asia; the Tanpu Gorge, known as the most beautiful water in Central China; and the Zhuyu Peak, where the great Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei wrote the famous line "As a stranger in a foreign land, I miss my family all the more during every festive occasion."

Yuntaishan's unique geological and geomorphological landscape is named "Yuntai Landform" by geological experts and praised by tourism experts as "Canyon Expo". It is like the "Ten Thousand History Books" of the Geological Museum and the "Hundred-mile Gallery" of landscape.
