Hotel Keihan Universal Tower

The hotel's side entrance is conveniently located right next to Lawson, just off the subway. There's even a hot spring on the 31st floor! While it does cost extra, the price is reasonable, and you even get Haagen-Dazs. After a day of exploring, a good soak is a must. Plus, the hot spring provides Sekkisei toiletries and Refa hairdryers. One ticket allows for two visits, morning and evening, and you can even catch a glimpse of Universal Studios at night.

The location is absolutely fantastic! The airport shuttle bus goes directly to Universal Studios. After getting off, it's just a short walk following the signs. Right outside the hotel's back door, a right turn leads you straight to the subway station 🚇. We booked a triple room. It wasn't huge, but considering it's Japan and in the Universal area, it's probably to be expected. It was a bit snug, which is typical for Japan, but for the price, I felt it offered pretty good value for money. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right in the middle of a commercial center, with everything for eating, drinking, and shopping – a true one-stop shop. It's incredibly convenient for indulging in some retail therapy and delicious food. Here's a little tip for Universal Studios: If you want great photos, try to find one of the staff members. They are excellent photographers and the pictures turn out amazing. We randomly asked an elderly cleaning staff member that day, and it turned out he was a photography pro! Every single shot was fantastic, providing 100% emotional value. On top of that, after taking our photos, he even gave us some Universal stickers, which was incredibly touching!

This hotel is right next to the subway exit, the first one on the left as you come out. It was by far my favorite place during this trip. The room was really spacious, I could easily open all three of my suitcases. They provide a kettle, and there's an ice-making water dispenser on every floor. It rained both days I was there, and everyone's shoes got soaked. Luckily, the room had a shoe dryer, which saved me from having to buy new shoes. On the second floor, there are washing machines and dryers; both washing and drying cost about 26 RMB and you can pay with Alipay. They also give out vouchers that you can use for a soft drink downstairs in the afternoon. In the mornings, you can grab breakfast at Lawson downstairs, and in the evenings, you can pick up sushi from Sushiro to eat back at the hotel. The value for money here is just fantastic.

The location is fantastic, just 100 meters from the Universal Studios entrance, making it the top choice if you're visiting the park. Of course, if you're not going to Universal, there's no real need to stay here. They have a hot spring on the upper floor, but unfortunately, I couldn't use it because of my tattoos, which was a shame. The room is around 25 square meters. The bathroom, however, is well-equipped with a Refa hairdryer and a Refa hair straightener.

This was my first time visiting Japan, and Universal Studios Japan was a must-see. I made sure to pick a hotel close to Universal, which made queuing in the morning easy and meant I could crash anytime after a long day of fun. I was really happy with my choice, Hotel Keihan. The triple room wasn't huge, but I later realized once I got to my Tokyo hotel that it was actually quite spacious! Right outside the hotel is the biggest Lawson convenience store on Universal Citywalk, and the JR line is right next door, which made getting to Shinsaibashi super convenient for us later on. The service was excellent; every staff member was incredibly warm and polite.

This hotel is incredibly close to USJ, right across from GAP. There's a huge Lawson convenience store downstairs, which is super convenient for grabbing essentials. The public bath costs extra, but they give you a voucher for a late-night snack. After 2 PM, you can relax and enjoy some ochazuke (rice with tea), mini pancakes, and soda. There's also a Matsumoto Kiyoshi pharmacy nearby, perfect for some shopping.

The room was clean, and the service was excellent. The view from the window was superb. It's less than a ten-minute walk to Universal Studios Japan and even less than five minutes to the train station, which is incredibly convenient.

Extremely satisfied! Everywhere smelled lovely – the restrooms, elevators, hallways, even the air itself was fragrant. There was no second-hand smoke, which was fantastic. The service was excellent, and they thoughtfully provided pajamas and toiletries for children. The location is right by Universal Studios Japan, incredibly close. Downstairs, there's a convenience store and Starbucks, and the entire street below is full of dining options. Plus, the subway entrance is right next door. It's absolutely perfect and well worth the money spent!
