Hotel Arashi Nambaminami No.003

The hotel is quite quiet, and the bed and pillows are soft. It's close to the tram station, with a FamilyMart nearby, and a shrine attraction just over 800 meters away. Overall, it's a pretty good stay.

This guesthouse has everything you need. The front desk staff spoke Mandarin, which was very helpful. It's also conveniently located near JR Imafuku Station, and there's a large supermarket right in front of the station. This is my second time staying here and I'm very satisfied.

Pros: 1. **Excellent Service:** The staff were warm, attentive, and patient. Check-in and check-out were very efficient, and the front desk even provided laundry detergent. 👍 2. **Well-Equipped Rooms:** The rooms come with a dual-purpose fridge (freezer and refrigerator), a bathroom with separate wet and dry areas, a washing machine, a TV, and a small balcony. 👍 3. **Decent Location:** Not far from the station, close to the JR Loop Line, making it very convenient for travel to Tennoji, Shin-Imamiya, and Namba. 4. **Convenient Shopping:** There's a large home center nearby with a supermarket and a 100-yen store, which is very convenient for emergency purchases of daily necessities. 👍 A Lawson convenience store is also less than a 2-minute walk from the hotel. 👍 5. **Room Cleanliness:** The room cleanliness was satisfactory. 👍 Minor Drawbacks: 1. **Surrounding Environment:** After exiting Shin-Imamiya Station, from daytime to evening, you might occasionally smell something like rotting vegetable leaves. This is due to the surrounding environment and not caused by the hotel itself. 2. **Room Size:** The guest rooms are 28 sqm, a common apartment-style layout in Japan. The space isn't overly spacious, but many hotels and apartment hotels in Japan are like this. For this price, this size is acceptable. 3. **Bed:** The bed frame is quite light, and if you bump into it while moving around, the bed tends to shift. This was quite frustrating. 4. **Blackout Curtains:** The blackout curtains are hung a bit low, so they don't completely block out light. Light seeps in during the early morning, so there's room for improvement in their blackout effectiveness. 5. **TV Functionality:** The TV in the room cannot connect to the internet, so you can't watch streaming platforms like YouTube or Netflix. This is a slight disappointment. Overall, it's a 👍👍👍 experience.

I got an incredibly good deal on this stay, the quality was far beyond what I paid for! It's about a 7-minute walk from the nearest Imamiya Station, but there's a convenience store and a great udon restaurant nearby, which I'd recommend checking out if you stay here. You can also cook your own meals as the kitchen is well-equipped. You need to bring your own laundry detergent, but the washing machine has a dryer function, which was a lifesaver. I washed my clothes 4 times during my 6-night stay and had fresh clothes every morning. The udon place is called Ikki Udon, and it's about a 6-minute walk away.

The front desk offers Chinese-speaking service, making check-in convenient and fast. As a solo traveler, my room was very spacious and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, and washing machine. The toiletries were comprehensive, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There were also two complimentary bottles of mineral water in the fridge. It was a very comfortable stay. Excellent value for money.
