A shoutout to May at Fairmont Haitang Bay: We made a last-minute decision to add Sanya to our honeymoon trip, and chose the Fairmont straight away because of its signature boat tour. Early in the morning, May got in touch with me and shared a well-organized guide of hotel details and unique features, which gave me great peace of mind. She addressed all my requests for the room and arranged everything properly. Although we didn't get to stay in Building 4 as rumored online, Building 1 was also nice, just a bit of a roundabout walk to get in and out. Breakfast was fantastic—especially the spiny lobster wontons and pistachio pastries, which were right up my alley. Too bad we have an early flight tomorrow and will miss it. May is professional, enthusiastic, and responsive at work. Whenever she couldn't directly say yes, she would still help me apply and find a solution. Her work ethic truly deserves high praise. In person, she is also such a sweet and caring young lady. Regardless of any other aspects of the hotel, I wanted to leave a glowing review just for May. It was entirely because of May's service that we decisively decided to extend our stay.

Came here for a trip and stayed at this hotel. The location is right by the sea, and the cleanliness of the room is quite decent. The breakfast has a rich variety, especially the bread. Highly recommended for everyone, overall a very satisfying stay.

I've been to Sanya many times, but this was my first stay at the Fairmont, and it truly exceeded my expectations. First of all, a huge shoutout to my butler, Heihei! He single-handedly gave me an amazing first impression of the hotel. He is by far the most attentive and considerate butler I have ever met. Knowing we were traveling with family, he proactively asked if we needed adjoining suites. Throughout our stay, he frequently checked in on me to see if we needed anything, and he always patiently answered all my questions. He is genuinely an exceptional butler! The entire staff at the Fairmont delivers top-notch service. From the front desk agents, restaurant staff, kids' club attendants, and boat tour crew to the housekeeping aunties, bellhops, and the qipao-clad photography hostess—everyone was warm, professional, and took the initiative to help. My baby and I were strolling leisurely across the covered bridge and didn't notice a bellhop pushing a luggage cart behind us. Instead of rushing us or squeezing past, he patiently followed our slow pace all the way until we cleared the bridge before walking around us. Such a polite gesture! The hotel's landscaping is gorgeous and unique, exactly my style. With plenty of solid wood finishes, you can tell a fortune was invested in building this property. Some online reviews mentioned that the public areas are dated, but they really aren't—perhaps they've been recently renovated? In any case, everything looks stunning and exudes a wonderful resort vibe. The hotel also excels in the details; both the guest rooms and public areas were impeccably clean and tidy. My overall impression is that this is a professional, dedicated team that truly puts guests first. I'm not a paid reviewer, just genuinely moved to share my experience because it far exceeded my expectations.

I originally booked for 3 days, but after meeting such a wonderful butler, I decided to extend my stay by 2 more nights, spending a total of 6 days and 5 nights at Fairmont Sanya Haitang Bay. Butler Tim not only replied to messages in seconds and was extremely responsible, but above all, he is a manager with high emotional intelligence and makes every interaction comfortable. Having him around meant complete peace of mind and full enjoyment of our privileges. The most memorable moment was when the kids wanted to swim while we were at the beach, but we didn't have enough time to go back and forth for their swimwear. Tim video-called us to help retrieve the swimwear and sunscreen, and even brought some fruits for the children. When we checked out, the babycare gift pack he gave us included low-fluoride toothpaste, 2-in-1 wash, diapers, wet wipes... every mom knows how practical these are. As for Fairmont Sanya Haitang Bay itself, the entire staff provided attentive service, and the breakfast was diverse and delicious.

The room was quite nice, and I'm glad I chose Jinzun. Although there were a few issues with the room, the butler communicated and resolved them very well, and even gave us a flower boat ride as a complimentary gesture. Overall, I am quite satisfied; it's just a pity that our itinerary was so rushed that we didn't get to enjoy it for very long.

The hotel is located in Haitang Bay, about a 50-minute drive from the airport. However, it only takes 15 minutes to reach Wuzhizhou Island and the duty-free shop, making it very convenient to plan your itinerary flexibly. There are plenty of activities to choose from at the hotel, and the package comes with quite a few dining perks. With direct access to the beach and loungers by the shore, it's perfect for a relaxing resort stay. We ran into a minor issue upon check-in, but our butler, Tim, responded promptly and resolved it properly without dampening our stay. He also proactively shared great tips for exploring the hotel and surrounding areas, making for a wonderful experience.

A hidden gem hotel in Haitang Bay! The room has great natural light and the bedding is very comfortable. Kiko responded to our requests very quickly. The breakfast offers a mix of Chinese and Western options, the gondola ride is definitely worth trying, and the private beach is peaceful. The top choice for a vacation!
