Super Hotel Premier Sendai Kokubuncho Tennenonsen

My first hotel in Sendai, and it left a great impression! The staff's smiles made me feel very welcome, and their explanations were clear. They didn't just rush through things because I'm a foreigner. The hotel provides so many amenities for guests, they even had face masks, which was a pleasant surprise! The showerhead and toiletries in the room were also from good brands, making for a very comfortable experience. For female travelers, there's even a ladies-only floor, which felt incredibly safe. The rooms on the female floor also offered complimentary use of hair straighteners and curling irons. The hotel really goes the extra mile for women. Then there's the hotel's hot spring ♨️. It's also password-protected for entry, which adds to the sense of security. The layout of the hot spring truly felt like a traditional Japanese bathhouse, giving a very authentic public bath experience, and it was exceptionally clean. What's more, the hot spring is open until very late, which is a huge plus for guests who stay out a bit later. The TV in the room even shows the current occupancy of the hot spring, so you can choose the best time to go. Being able to soak in the hot spring after a long day of walking was absolutely wonderful, especially for my tired legs. However, the surrounding area has quite a few izakayas and bars, so female travelers should be cautious if walking alone on the left side of Kokubuncho after 11:00 PM.

I booked a connecting room, but the hotel staff said they received instructions for two rooms. After some communication, a connecting room was finally arranged. Perhaps due to the last-minute arrangement, the room was quite dusty, especially the upper bunk bed, which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The room size was normal; I could easily open my suitcase. The bathroom was rather small, but it had a bathtub. The hotel's public bath was very small, which was a bit disappointing. The lobby welcome drink bar was absolutely fantastic, with a huge variety of alcoholic beverages. This bar really added to the hotel's appeal! The hotel staff were very polite. The hotel provides lotions, face masks, etc., for self-service. There's a convenience store and a Don Quijote nearby. A street nearby is a bus stop. A taxi from the hotel to Sendai Station cost 1110 yen.

I originally booked a connecting room, but unfortunately it was sold out. However, it's close to shopping spots like Kokubuncho and has plenty of restaurants nearby! The smaller room is a bit of a hassle, so bear with it! There's also a hot spring on the second floor, perfect for relaxing after a long day!

The experience was better than expected! Although the hotel is not very big, it has hot spring facilities and is comfortable and clean! The hotel breakfast is also delicious. Donki is near the hotel, which is very convenient!

It's conveniently located near the subway station and a Don Quijote store. It's a little scary at night because it's close to the downtown area, but it was fine.

The shower head in the hot spring was peeling off, which was disappointing. There was a stinky smell when I got off the elevator and reached the guest floor.

It was very clean. The large bath and the changing room were spacious, and there was a large mirror in the bathroom, so I was able to dry my hair slowly with a hair dryer.

I had a very pleasant stay. It was a new hotel with fresh air and a refreshing morning. I hope you continue to provide comfort to travelers. Thank you for your help.
