Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay

Had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay at the hotel. First, I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, and our butler, Sini, was very thoughtful, providing ample warm reminders and responding super quickly. Other staff members we encountered also responded and resolved issues very promptly. The overall feeling the hotel gave was attentive and professional. The hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained and nicely laid out. I heard it was fully booked one of the nights, but aside from the buffet breakfast being a bit crowded, it never felt overly busy. The hotel has a great resort vibe. It's a shame that with kids, there were many beautiful spots where we couldn't take good photos. Buffet Breakfast: Rich and fresh. Freshly squeezed juices, Cantonese-style freshly made rice noodle rolls, Cantonese congee, chicken feet, Southeast Asian curry rice noodles, etc. You can even mix your own fresh fruit juices. Buffet Dinner: Included in the Trip.com package. The drinks selection was extensive, with several beers, white and red wines, and even the option to mix your own cocktails. There were several types of shrimp and crab, not just one, plus grilled mini lobsters, oysters, scallops, abalone, and lamb racks. Everything I wanted was there, very satisfying. A commendable point is how quickly food was replenished; we rarely had to wait. The beach is clean and exclusive to the hotel, so it's not crowded. Besides the main pool, there's also a swim-up lane connected to the rooms, which was a joy for kids who love water. Over the three days, we switched between the beach and pool constantly, and my child didn't want to leave. If we come for a family holiday again, we'll definitely return here.

The rooms were new, spacious, with comfortable bedding, and the entire room was clean and odor-free. Our booking included a 'Smile & Play' photography session, and the photographer was fantastic at engaging the children, capturing natural and lively shots. They took photos on the beach, by the pool, and amidst the Lingnan-style decor in the lobby – it was a perfect blend of fun and photography, ideal for a family vacation!

The entire trip was easygoing and comfortable, a perfect escape from the city hustle, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. Next time we visit Zhuhai, this will definitely be our first choice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a seaside vacation.

I came to Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay specifically for its highly-rated dining, and it certainly lived up to the hype! Butler Flora's service was truly exceptional. The hotel's three specialty restaurants each have their own unique highlights. The buffet breakfast at 'Eat Well' was a standout, with a wide variety of made-to-order stations, including fresh noodles, omelets, and Cantonese dim sum. The ingredients were top-notch. The sea-view afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge was both beautiful and delicious; the desserts weren't overly sweet and paired perfectly with the specialty drinks. Enjoying it while watching the sunset created a perfect ambiance. Room service was prompt and the presentation was exquisite. All the dining staff were courteous, served dishes at a good pace, and actively introduced each item. The hotel's environment blends Lingnan aesthetics with coastal scenery, offering sea views while you dine. From breakfast to dinner, every meal felt like a special occasion, with fresh ingredients and consistently excellent flavors! The 'Joyful Journey Photography' package included in our stay also produced high-quality photos. Food lovers absolutely must experience this place.

As a family of three from Foshan, we usually stay at resort hotels around Guangzhou and Qingyuan. This was our first time at the Angsana Zhuhai, and we were immediately impressed by the hotel's facilities upon entering. The unbeatable sea view, private beach, and massive pool already surpass 90% of family-friendly resorts. Our child played for two days and didn't even get to the kids' club because there was simply too much fun to be had in the huge pool. We did encounter a few minor issues, but the butler service was excellent and resolved everything promptly. If I had to offer one suggestion, it would be that the hotel is simply too big – we ended up staying quite far from everything, and the path to the underground parking wasn't very intuitive. But these are minor points compared to the incredible environment. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel package also included a 'Laughing Fun Travel Photography' experience, which was excellent! Our room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The hotel thoughtfully provided children's toiletries and slippers, a warm and considerate detail. The massive canal-like heated pool and private crescent beach were perfect for kids to splash and play, with clean and safe sand. Breakfast at the Market Place restaurant offered a rich variety, from Cantonese dim sum and Western pastries to fresh fruits, catering to both adults and children's tastes. All staff members were very friendly, always greeting children with a smile. The resort grounds are expansive with lush greenery, making walks and sightseeing very pleasant. The overall pace was relaxed, facilities were well-maintained, and free parking made getting around easy. This is a hidden gem for family trips in Zhuhai and our top choice for a vacation with kids.

The hotel's location is superb, nestled by the mountains and the sea. Taxis to attractions are also very convenient. Highly recommended!!

This hotel has the closest private beach to Guangzhou and Foshan, making it perfect for family trips. The only downsides were the slow check-in process, as we couldn't get into our room until 4 PM, and the breakfast where we had to queue if we didn't go early. 😅

The hotel also collaborates with Xiaowan Travel Photography; if you have time or need photos, it's worth trying, as the quality is excellent. The hotel grounds include a private beach and pool, making it an excellent choice for both families with children and couples on a romantic getaway. I will definitely choose to stay here again in the future!
