We (a family of three with a child) drove to Ping'an Village parking lot, arriving at 1:30 PM (note: you need to buy tickets to enter the scenic area first). We parked there until 9 AM the next day, paying a capped parking fee of 37 yuan. The owner then picked us up and drove us further up the mountain for about 5 minutes, followed by a 10-minute walk to the guesthouse. A huge thanks to the owner for helping us carry our luggage up!
The room was fantastic – clean and comfortable. We could watch both the sunrise and sunset from our room, with stunning terraced field views right outside. My wife and son woke up at 6:40 AM to catch the sunrise, while I slept in.
All the local specialties at the guesthouse restaurant were delicious; we had all three meals there. The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, and even gave me a pot of local tea to try. The Jiuxing Banyue (Nine Stars Accompany the Moon) viewing platform was just a convenient 5-minute walk uphill. Our family had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food.

Excellent service, the views are incredibly photogenic, with terraced fields right outside the window! It's also conveniently located close to two popular attractions. Despite a little rain on our ascent, we were treated to a breathtaking view of the terraced fields enveloped in a sea of clouds, which was absolutely stunning! The only minor downside was the prevalence of bluestone slab paths; it was easy to get lost without proper guidance, as signposts were quite sparse. Thankfully, the hotel isn't far from the main road, and the owner even personally provided pick-up and drop-off service.

The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!
