The experience here was fantastic! The guesthouse is located in Dongsai, a bit deeper than Wuyanqiao, but it's more spacious and quieter, with fewer tourists. It's run by the family, which is very welcoming! The guesthouse is also very clean and tidy; the owners take great care in maintaining it. Furthermore, the owner's breakfast and lunch are delicious, much better than the restaurants in Wuyanqiao—highly recommended! Especially avoid Li Dage Restaurant, it's terrible! There's a small space near the guesthouse entrance where you can relax and enjoy the view. My friends and I had a great time playing games there in the evenings. You can also go out at night to see insects and small animals; there are many study tour groups along the way, and you'll discover many surprises.

The hygiene at the guesthouse in Maolan was generally acceptable; they provided disposable towels and disposable plastic bags for the bathtub. The restaurant on the first floor served food as needed, but the hot water supply was insufficient, so I couldn't shower that night. The view from the window was nice; because the location was slightly out of the way, the view was unobstructed. Overall, I recommend it.

The surrounding area has a very idyllic, tranquil feel, perfect for a slow-paced lifestyle. However, various moths and insects appear in the rooms at night, quite a lot, I don't know where they come from, so those with a fear of insects should be cautious. The owners are very helpful, will assist with contacts, and will proactively ask questions. If you need to contact the ticket office at the scenic area in advance, they can arrange pick-up. The owner's wife acts as a guide and will help take photos. Two points that were less satisfactory: First, the medical services here are very inadequate. My friend had a fever and felt unwell a few days ago due to food poisoning, but the guesthouse didn't have a thermometer or common emergency medications. The owners asked the village clinic and found they didn't have any either, nor did their friends. The road into the mountains is quite long and can easily cause motion sickness. I wouldn't recommend coming here just for a day trip to Maolan. Our experience was that the itinerary was very rushed; we were basically on the road the whole time, which was tiring. It's better to stay for a few days to relax and enjoy the experience. Also, because it's in the mountains, it's difficult to order takeout, so I suggest bringing your own common medications just in case. Second, food is relatively expensive. A few days ago, I felt the food was quite expensive at the scenic area, and here the prices are basically the same as in the scenic area, with no room for bargaining. For example, stir-fried chicken with soybeans (about half a chicken, lots of soybeans) cost 98 yuan. The taste was okay, and because there were so many soybeans, the portion looked decent, but I personally thought it was too expensive. Even free-range chickens shouldn't cost that much. (Picture attached with prices). Also, the bus from here to Libo County (bus station) costs 14 yuan. It's an old-fashioned bus that sounds creaky and rattles, the road conditions are terrible, and the journey takes 2 hours. I suggest arriving there at 10 am to wait. We missed two buses and didn't get a bus until 11:30 am.

Facilities: The facilities are very new, all recently renovated. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The environment is fantastic, with the only large terrace in the whole village, an excellent dining setting. Service: 100% service. The owners are very welcoming and responsive. The owner's cooking is absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and superb skills—it's worthy of running a restaurant. The chicken and fish are freshly caught. I'll definitely come again!

We brought our dog to Maolan and were very satisfied with this stay. The room had smart home technology, and it was very quiet at night. The chicken and duck were all freshly slaughtered, and the owner's cooking skills were excellent; the braised chicken with soybeans was truly delicious! We also ordered plum wine, which would have been even better with ice. It's a 10-minute walk from the guesthouse to the Wuyan Bridge. If you're going caving, it's the end point of the reverse-traverse black hole. Laundry and drying clothes are convenient; I highly recommend it!

The hotel is great, the furniture is very smart, it has just been renovated and is very new, and the photos are very photogenic. The boss was very nice and helped us upgrade our room! The scenery outside the window is absolutely stunning, and the surrounding scenery is also beautiful. A short walk ahead is Wuyan Bridge and Qinglongtan. The route to the cave is also quick and convenient. The boss himself cooks and his skills are good. The rice fish and native chicken are both delicious! He even made Cantonese spicy food to take care of us hahahahahaha
