Via Inn Abeno Tennoji

The hotel lobby's floor-to-ceiling windows are beautiful, and Don Quijote is right downstairs. 10/10, no explanation needed! 😚

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a short walk from JR Tennoji station, and you can also easily access various private railways and subways. There are plenty of shopping malls and drugstores nearby. The best part is that the hotel is in the same building as Don Quijote; the hotel is on the upper floors, and Don Quijote occupies the entire five floors below. This makes duty-free shopping incredibly convenient. As for the room, it was also very good – clean and tidy. I especially liked the Japanese-style bathroom where you can sit down to shower. The only slight drawback was the lack of fruit at breakfast. Overall, it's excellent!

The hotel breakfast has slight variations over two days, which is great for Chinese palates. It's close to the subway station, and shopping and dining nearby are incredibly convenient. The Abeno Harukas observatory is also very close and worth checking out. The only downside is that if your room faces the JR line, there's occasional noise from passing trains.

The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly fine for one person. The breakfast spread is quite generous, and the location is super convenient for getting around.

Looking for a hotel in Osaka that's convenient for shopping and getting around, I chose this one based on a friend's recommendation. The price for four days and three nights, including breakfast, was incredibly good value. The hotel is located right in the Tennoji shopping district, super close to Kintetsu Department Store, MIO, and Q's Mall. It's about 309 meters away, so shopping is a breeze. Tsutenkaku Tower and Shitennoji Temple are also only about a kilometer away. Although the hotel breakfast didn't change at all over the three days, the mini bread, pudding, and curry rice were all absolutely delicious. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Osaka.

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Check-in was done on a computer, which wasn't an issue since I speak Japanese. I didn't notice if there were English or Chinese options. Check-out was even simpler – just insert the room card into the machine next to the computer. The hotel lobby is on the seventh floor and has a fantastic view. You can sit on the sofas by the window, relax, and just zone out.
