We stay here regularly, twice a year for up to 3 weeks at a time. We were somewhat disappointed with the way staff/management dealt with the issue of flooding at the hotel which resulted in no clean pool, no running water, for two days, hence our time there being cut short by five nights. Many people were checking out due to the same circumstances, but we were offered no support despite numerous inquiries and only on the second day were were given a very heavy one gallon bottle of drinking water to be able to flush our toilet and use for washing. Hygiene at breakfast was below par, considering there was no running water for anyone to wash hands, we inquired about hand sanitiser being available at the breakfast buffet but were promptly told no.
When we checked out we were given a prompt refund for the remaining days, which we very much appreciated as we needed to book elsewhere. People were being shunted out of the street in inflatables.
We would still return here as we enjoy the ambience and pool, but now know to have a back up plan in the wet season.
