The hotel environment and hygiene are excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This is by far the best hotel I've experienced in Dongguan, whether for business trips or family vacations.

The Banyan Tree Dongguan Songshan Lake is perfect for a weekend getaway! Nestled within a lakeside garden, its green bricks and red walls create an incredibly atmospheric vibe, surrounded by lush trees and tranquil waters – so peaceful and comfortable. All rooms come with a private hot spring tub, and soaking in it at night while enjoying the lake breeze is incredibly stress-relieving. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and our butler, Lillian, provided thoughtful and attentive service. The Cantonese restaurant serves authentic and delicious food, and the infinity pool is great for photos. You don't have to travel far to enjoy a quiet, relaxing, and rejuvenating vacation.

The hotel's environment is beautiful and peaceful, making check-in feel like an escape to a paradise. The room decor is comfortable and luxurious, ensuring a super high-quality sleep. The service is thoughtful, attentive, and meticulous; Allen, in particular, was very professional, and the concierge proactively helped with luggage. The restaurant offers unique dishes with delicious cuisine. The swimming pool water is crystal clear and spotless. This was another unforgettable and wonderful trip.

As an experienced hotel enthusiast, I had long anticipated the arrival of Banyan Tree’s first hotel in Guangdong, especially for a summer trip to Dongguan Songshan Lake. I’ve now visited twice. The hotel lobby itself feels like the beginning of an aesthetic vacation, enveloping guests in a blend of ancient tranquility, contemporary wellness, and a thoughtful, immersive experience. The front desk's backdrop features a painting by artist Wang Tiande, 'Banyan Secluded Abode,' an elegant landscape in a minimalist style that perfectly complements the lobby’s ambiance. Crystal at the front desk provided excellent service. On either side of the guest rooms are a walk-in closet, vanity, and bathroom. The bathroom is a standout, featuring Banyan Tree SPA's exclusive Thai Chamanard bath products and a Dyson hairdryer as standard – every detail screams luxury. The balcony boasts a soaking tub, offering a relaxing mineral bath experience for both body and mind. The 'Sunset Ritual' at Ri Ri Ting is a truly healing experience, where professional instructors guide guests through a singing bowl relaxation session, immersing them in ethereal Zen sounds to clear daily distractions and purify the soul. The Lobby Lounge has a stylish design with both indoor and outdoor areas. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer beautiful views of the lake and green forest, and the outdoor seating is surrounded by flowing water. It’s a perfect place to unwind with a laptop, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, and spend a leisurely afternoon – a rare treat for relaxation. The Julius Meinl 'Little Red Hat' coffee served here was particularly to my liking. In the evening, the Lobby Lounge's menu also features a wonderful selection of signature cocktails, providing a satisfying escape into a beautiful night amidst a bustling life. Furthermore, the authentic Cantonese cuisine at Bai Yun Chinese Restaurant is a visual and culinary feast that leaves a lasting impression.

Guangdong summers are scorching, so bringing the kids to Banyan Tree was a great choice. Our room had its own plunge pool, and the main pool was clean and not crowded. It's the perfect, hassle-free way to keep the kids entertained and cool during the hot summer without even leaving the resort. Both the Chinese restaurant and the buffet were delicious! The service here is excellent; all the staff we met were incredibly sharp. They understood everything we needed with just one explanation and responded perfectly! There's also a dedicated contact person before check-in, and our contact this time, Kira, deserves a five-star rating! 👍🏻👍🏻

The environment is absolutely fantastic, full of spring vibes! Soaking in the hot spring while enjoying the view was incredibly refreshing. The guest relations service was outstanding; from the detailed check-in introductions to the thoughtful escort back to my room, Nana was warm and enthusiastic, making me feel right at home! Booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary. They surprised us with a small cake, fresh flowers, and a handwritten card, which was so sweet! The room was very clean, and the staff's service attitude was excellent. The hotel is located right by Songshan Lake, so the air is incredibly fresh. I really enjoyed the hotel's activities (some chargeable) like cycling around the lake, spa, mindfulness sessions, Baduanjin exercises, fish feeding, afternoon tea, the buffet, and the Chinese restaurant – all were fantastic. It's truly a top choice for a relaxing getaway.
