ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL

I chose this hotel primarily for its prime location in the heart of Tenjin, making shopping incredibly convenient. Pixel Tree is right downstairs, Tenjin Underground Mall is just below, and it's connected to Tenjin Subway Station. After checking in, I was impressed by the excellent service details, including complimentary use of massage chairs – perfect for a full-body massage after an evening of shopping. The hotel's decor is also fantastic, and the price is reasonable. It's definitely a hotel I'd choose again when I visit Fukuoka.

Most hotels in Japan have small rooms, but I booked this one because I wanted a large room, and it was indeed very spacious. However, the breakfast was poor for the price. Also, there's construction going on in the building next door, and the noise started early in the morning, which was a bit difficult to deal with.

Even for a one-night stay, it was very fulfilling, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The location is also great, with a lovely view from the terrace.

The room was very new and the environment was excellent. Shopping was incredibly convenient, with malls all around and everything within easy reach of the main shopping areas. The view from the balcony was great, I saw the sunset and Fukuoka Tower was right there. It's a good place to stay if you're here to shop. The facilities felt a bit pricey compared to the cost, but that might be because it's a new hotel. The mini-bar was a pleasant surprise, well-stocked and free.

The staff were very thorough in their explanations and thoughtfully switched the language to English for me. Before checking in, I mentioned that I hadn't slept much the night before due to a fire alarm at another hotel. I asked if they could contact me if an early check-in was possible so I could rest. Although they weren't able to accommodate an early check-in because the hotel was fully booked, the staff expressed their concern and explained the situation. During my stay, I used their rental service and requested playing cards and a Refa curling iron. They were delivered to my room within about 5 minutes! I hope to have the chance to stay again when the weather is nicer!

The location and the room were both excellent, and the cleanliness was great too. I was quite surprised that a hotel at this price point didn't offer a welcome drink. However, everything in the mini-bar was complimentary.

I had to stay an extra day in Fukuoka because my flight was cancelled due to a typhoon, so I chose Fukuoka No. 1. Overall, the room environment was great, with a balcony and ample space. The mini-bar was completely free, and the complimentary snacks were delicious. There's a communal bath, and while it's not a natural hot spring, it's still nice for a relaxing soak. The Lodge area also offered plenty of free self-service drinks and ice cream. The turndown service was a thoughtful touch, even providing a face mask for each person. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! It was a combination of à la carte mains and a buffet. I highly recommend the unagi don (eel rice bowl) and the steak! My only criticisms would be that the front desk is quite small and merges with the bar, which can get chaotic when there are many people. I also found the room price to be a bit high; comparatively, the Hotel Miyako Fukuoka offers better value for money.

Right in the heart of Fukuoka, this hotel is perfectly connected, so no matter the weather, even if it rains, you can easily access all the shopping and great restaurants. The facilities are spotless. And as you can see from the pictures, the terrace view is even more breathtaking in person – it's not a small terrace at all! The bathhouse and sauna are also immaculately clean, and I especially loved the sauna with its strong cypress scent. I'm quite particular when choosing a hotel, but this one met all my expectations. I've looked at many other hotels in Fukuoka, and I don't think there's another one quite like this. If I visit again, I would 100% choose this hotel.
