Shangri-La Half View Vacation Homestay (Near the Giant Prayer Wheel, Dukezong Ancient City)

The room was lovely, very spacious and spotless. The owner was incredibly nice, offering airport pick-up and drop-off services and even complimentary snacks. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and you could even get rice noodles!

The room was super spacious and tastefully designed, totally my style. It made for great photos right in the hotel, and you could see the largest prayer wheel from there. The old town was also within walking distance. They even offered pick-up and drop-off service from the station. The owners were really genuine, and the owner's dad was super nice too. He helped us arrange a local 'Tusi' banquet at a better price than online and even provided free transportation. Breakfast was delicious too! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with disposable face towels and bath towels provided, which is a thoughtful touch. There's also an oxygen concentrator. The room is spacious and comfortably designed. Hygiene: Not only is the room clean, but the entire hotel looks very clean and grand. The breakfast is also prepared and cooked by the owner themselves, which is clean, hygienic, and delicious. Service: The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming! Whenever we had a problem, they tried their best to help us solve it! It was an absolutely fantastic stay!!! The location is convenient, you can walk out and explore the old town, and there are many snack shops nearby.

Stayed for two nights. Round trip airport/station transfer is provided, and breakfast is included. Service: Decent. Environment: The room matches the pictures exactly. Facilities: Comes with one oxygen concentrator and one humidifier. Hygiene: Acceptable.

Initially, I saw some negative reviews saying the owner had a bad attitude, which made me hesitate to book. But I really liked the design of the place, so I went ahead and booked it. After checking in, I found their service to be absolutely perfect. Our Shangri-La trip was quite rushed. We arrived for check-in close to midnight, and someone was still waiting for us. They were also worried we wouldn't find the place, so they came out to guide us, helped us with our luggage, and even offered us ginger tea. They showed us to our room and turned on the dehumidifier and oxygen generator for us. The hotel rooms are incredibly spacious, and they even provide disposable towels and bathtub liners. The next morning during check-out, it might have been the owner's mother who cheerfully told us to stay a few more days and offered us water and snacks. Our stay during the trip was incredibly warm and welcoming! If I ever come back to Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again! (This is a genuinely good review!!!)

A wonderful, exquisite, and beautiful hotel with a great location. We stayed for two nights, and the owner provided pick-up and drop-off services. The hotel's ventilator was a real lifesaver for my friend and me when we felt unwell, which was very reassuring. The aesthetics are on point, the projector is convenient, and the bed is huge.

The B&B has a rooftop viewing platform where you can see Guishan Park, and there's also a play area for kids. The owners are a lovely family; they drove us to the Tusi Banquet and even dropped us off at the high-speed rail station when we left, giving us two packs of milk candy – they were incredibly welcoming. Just a heads-up, if you need room cleaning, you need to let the owner know before 12 PM.
