Longji Terraces Far and Near B&B (Ping'anzhai)

An absolutely fantastic stay! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The accommodation itself was spotless and very tidy, and there was even a viewing platform on the rooftop. The food was delicious too, and the homemade rice wine the landlady gave us in the evening was the best I've ever tasted – so mellow and sweet. Absolutely wonderful! Next time I visit, I'll definitely be staying here again!

It's a bit far from the foot of the mountain, but the owner's family helped carry my luggage, which was a lifesaver because I definitely couldn't have managed it alone. The room was super spacious and incredibly comfortable; I had a fantastic one-night stay! The whole family was wonderful. When I ordered food, the grandma even poured me a cup of her homemade rice wine, which was delicious! The next day, the owner also helped arrange a shared ride for me. The only thing to be aware of is that there are a lot of bugs in the mountains! They'll fly in if you leave the balcony light on, so don't open the balcony door casually at night~

This guesthouse, located at the highest point of Ping'an Village, boasts a scenic balcony that's perfect for photos. It's also incredibly close to the Seven Stars Accompany the Moon viewpoint, just a ten-minute walk away, making it ideal for catching both sunrise and sunset.

The owners, both the husband and wife, are incredibly kind. I originally booked a small room, but the landlady proactively upgraded me to a bigger room for free, saying she wanted us to be more comfortable. 👍 They invited us to warm up by the fire and even washed fruit for us to share with their child. We also had dinner at their place, and it was super delicious; the owner even gave us some rice wine. The next morning, when we were heading out, the owner gave us some sweet potatoes and taro from their own farm, which were incredibly sweet. Overall, everything was wonderful, and it truly felt like coming home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Longji.
