Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel

So happy to be back at Zhuhai Chimelong again! Even after all these years, the room is still clean and bright. The complimentary mini-bar and water station are a nice touch. The dolphins in the dolphin pool are so lively and adorable, actively interacting with guests. Watching the flamingos on Flamingo Island is also incredibly beautiful. Beyond the classic ocean-themed lobby, check-in and check-out were seamless with no waiting. The pool and water world offer a wide variety of options and are open all day. The gym equipment is new, and there's even a self-service laundry room. With diverse dining choices like evening tea, afternoon tea, and buffets, plus shuttle buses and boat tours, everything from dining to accommodation and transportation is incredibly convenient. Besides the amusement rides, we absolutely loved the marine animals at the Ocean Kingdom. The newly added Spaceship Park is also fantastic. In addition to the rides, it educates and entertains through various means like pictures and models, conveying knowledge about environmental protection, the ocean, and marine animals. The indoor venues are perfect for rainy days or extreme heat. We had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay!

How do I put this? We traveled on the weekend before Children's Day, so it was crowded, and the experience wasn't ideal, but you could tell the hotel staff tried their best to manage. First, the pros: for over 1500 RMB, it included the room, unlimited two-day admission to the Spaceship Park and Water World for two people. Both days, we could enter an hour early, which was great for enjoying ourselves. Plus, on the first day, we could activate the tickets ourselves and enter, which was a nice touch! The Spaceship Park had plenty of fun rides and attractions, and the queues weren't too long – the longest wait was about 30-45 minutes, which is acceptable. The Water World staff were very vigilant about safety; they had eyes like hawks, especially for kids who can swim and were with their parents – it felt a bit overly cautious, to be honest. (Overall, good feedback.) We had already spent a full day playing when we checked in, bought the buffet dinner, and even got a room upgrade. The buffet dinner was also very crowded, but the food quality was good, and the staff service was excellent. Two regrets: first, the Water World was too packed, the shower facilities were insufficient, and the drainage was too slow. The entire shower area, I mean the *entire* shower area, was flooded. Second, the upgraded room had a severe air conditioning leak! We couldn't switch rooms because it was so busy, but a maintenance technician arrived quickly and fixed it. Overall, I feel that since the hotel has been operating for many years, some facilities are showing their age and need timely maintenance and updates. All in all, the value for money is good. I'd give the hardware 70 points and the soft service 100 points.

Our stay in the garden view room was delightful. The elegant decor and soft furnishings created a wonderful ambiance. The room was well-ventilated, with no dampness or strange odors, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The entire resort boasts beautiful scenery; the flamingo viewing area and dolphin pool are perfect for snapping Instagram-worthy photos. The hotel's water park was far less crowded than the one at Ocean Kingdom, making for a much more enjoyable experience. Strolling along the seaside promenade at sunset was simply breathtaking, creating an absolutely magical atmosphere. The room cleaning standards were impeccable. The floors, windowsills, nightstand crevices, and even the bathroom glass were spotless, free of water stains or hair, and the bathroom had no unpleasant smells. All the bedding was fresh and new, with no stains on the pillows or mattress. The room's private balcony provided excellent ventilation, effectively mitigating any dampness from the sea. The hotel's yacht shuttle service offered a unique experience, transporting us directly to Ocean Kingdom. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a culinary delight, with surprisingly delicious dishes made from fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly, and their service was prompt and attentive. At the buffet, all tableware was high-temperature sterilized, the food was neatly arranged, and staff were quick to clear table waste. The front desk staff were thorough in their communication, checking in on our stay and promptly resolving any issues. This vacation was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating, with thoughtful details showing genuine care. Our stay was absolutely perfect. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back if I get the chance.

We chose the Hengqin Bay Hotel for our trip to Zhuhai Chimelong with our child this time, and overall it was a great experience. The hotel environment is clean, and the room is well-equipped with a balcony, bathtub, mini-fridge, electric kettle, and more. The lobby smells wonderful, and the staff are very responsive to questions. The concierge also offers free luggage storage. I highly recommend this hotel whether you're traveling with family or friends. One suggestion: the check-in efficiency could be improved.

The hotel's front desk service was excellent. This is my fourth time visiting Chimelong, and they even upgraded my room for free! The buffet breakfast and dinner were incredibly abundant, with a wide variety of options that are very kid-friendly and delicious. Given the current hot weather, I'd highly recommend the Spaceship Theme Park, as it's indoors and very comfortable. They offer a dedicated shuttle service. In the evenings, you can catch the fireworks show and the Grand Circus! Service: The butler service was fantastic.

Absolutely blown away! The dolphin pool is incredibly cute, the flamingos are like a pink aurora, and the lobby has a strong oceanic vibe. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The heated pool is super comfortable, and I played until my legs gave out at the water park. No waiting for the gym, and the shuttle bus covers the entire park. Both the Seaview Restaurant and the Dolphin Buffet are available. Fell in love after just one stay!

Our room on the 17th floor had a fantastic view of Macau across the water. My kids absolutely loved the Hengqin Bay Water World, located right downstairs from the hotel, and went every day of our 3-day stay. It has a white sand beach and a huge outdoor pool. The hotel's buffet dinner was excellent, featuring salmon and papaya bird's nest with coconut milk, plus a large fish tank in the restaurant. The free shuttle bus to Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Park was super convenient, taking only 5 minutes. With all these five-star amenities and butler service, we were very satisfied with our overall stay, especially the food and accommodation!
