Pullman Sanya Yalong Bay Villas & Resort

This time, I brought my family to Sanya Yalong Bay for a vacation and ultimately chose to stay at the Pullman Sanya Yalong Bay Villas & Resort. The biggest surprise throughout the entire trip came from the housekeeping service. I absolutely must write a detailed review to commend these dedicated housekeeping staff. The hotel as a whole has a Southeast Asian tropical garden style, surrounded by large areas of lush greenery. The standalone villas come with private hot spring pools, offering great privacy. You can feel the sea breeze and greenery of Sanya right in your own courtyard, creating an incredible atmosphere. The villa space is ample, with clearly defined areas for the living room, bedroom, and separate bathrooms. A large soaking tub, outdoor shower, and courtyard loungers are all available, making it perfect for a family relaxing holiday. The cleanliness and service of the room were definite highlights of this stay. The housekeeping staff were meticulous and professional. Every day when they came to clean the room, they would gently knock to confirm, respecting our rest time. While cleaning, they not only wiped the floors, surfaces, and bathrooms spotlessly clean but also paid attention to corners and crevices. The bathroom glass and sink were free of water marks, the toilet and shower area were clean and odorless, and the bedding was neatly replaced with pillows tidily arranged. Our personal luggage, electronic products, and children's toys, which were left casually in the room, were carefully organized without being arbitrarily moved by the cleaners, protecting guests' belongings – this was particularly reassuring. After cleaning each day, the housekeeping staff would thoughtfully arrange towels into cute elephant and swan shapes on the bedside, bringing a lot of joy to the children. During our stay, we occasionally needed extra mineral water and children's toiletries. After contacting housekeeping, the response was swift, and items were delivered to our room shortly after, with a gentle and polite attitude. One evening, when there were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, we contacted housekeeping, and staff quickly brought mosquito repellent and kindly reminded us to close the courtyard door to prevent mosquitoes from entering the room. Their thoughtfulness was evident everywhere. For several days, the room remained fresh and clean. Even when we went out for the day and brought back sand and beach items, the housekeeping staff meticulously cleaned the sand particles from the courtyard and room the next day, keeping the entire villa spotless. The area around the villa's pool was also cleaned, with fallen leaves and debris promptly cleared, ensuring the courtyard environment remained neat and comfortable. The housekeeping staff always greeted guests with a smile and sincere demeanor, without any perfunctoriness. You could tell the housekeeping team was professionally trained and dedicated to every room and every guest. Although some hotel facilities showed their age, the room maintenance was excellent. The housekeeping team consistently carried out daily upkeep and promptly reported any equipment issues to ensure guests' comfort as much as possible. It is precisely the diligent cleaning and thoughtful service of the housekeeping staff, day in and day out, that made the entire stay warm and pleasant. When on vacation, a clean and safe room is fundamental, and the Pullman housekeeping team exceeded expectations. The hotel's amenities are also very good. The in-park buggies were available on demand, shuttle services made travel convenient, and breakfast offered a rich variety. The distance to Yalong Bay Beach was not far. Our family enjoyed relaxing in the villa's courtyard and soaking in the private pool, making for a truly vacation-like experience. A big thank you to all the housekeeping staff for their patient, meticulous, and thoughtful service. They created a comfortable and safe living environment for us with their professionalism and dedication. The housekeeping service at Pullman Yalong Bay is highly commendable, and I strongly recommend it to anyone vacationing in Sanya. The next time we visit Yalong Bay, we will still prioritize Pullman and look forward to meeting this warm housekeeping team again, especially the butler Chen Shanzhu and housekeeper Xu Yiming, and Sun Youhui. We originally booked a pool-access room in the main building, thinking my mom, who loves to swim, could jump in anytime. Later, the hotel proactively called to inform us that the main building was under maintenance and kindly upgraded us to a Myanmar Villa. Having never stayed in a villa before, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The living room and bedroom are separate, so dining inside didn't feel cramped at all. The pool was also quite clean; staff came by every day to scoop out fallen leaves. The biggest surprise was returning from the beach on the second day to find towels folded into swan shapes on the bed. We hadn't requested any of this, so we were very satisfied. However, because parts of the main building were under renovation, the large pool and many of the landscaped areas were closed off. After meals, when we wanted to go for a stroll to digest, we could only wander aimlessly around the villa zone, which took away a bit of the enjoyment.

The stay at Pullman Sanya Yalong Bay was excellent. The garden environment was delightful, and the room was clean and comfortable. A special thanks to our butler, ERIC, who was incredibly responsive and attentive, making our vacation exceptionally pleasant. Highly recommended!

The hotel has a unique Southeast Asian style. The service was on point, the breakfast was good, and the shuttle service was very convenient. The complimentary photoshoot turned out great, though purchasing extra photos was a bit pricey. The room was spacious, and the private pool was huge and very photogenic. However, the hardware/facilities are slightly dated, and the minibar was empty—they probably forgot to stock it for us. The main attractions in the public pool area were under renovation, so there wasn't much to do there; the other remaining public pool was tiny and empty. This place is best suited for swimming in your own private pool and taking nice photos. On the plus side, ordering food delivery is easy, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

Pullman is a great value for money option in Yalong Bay. I love trying different living experiences. The pool villa offers a private pool, so you can swim until whatever time you like. The design is also very thoughtful; you can shower and change right after swimming before heading back into your room. The villa area is quite large, and the buggy service is very responsive. The complimentary photoshoot was excellent. They provide clothes to borrow, and the photographer was skilled, even enduring the sun to take us to the beach for photos. To get to the beach, you only need to walk through one other hotel. For dining, there's a food street a few hundred meters away with specialties like Zao Po Cu and Coconut Chicken, as well as a small supermarket.

The room was spacious and quite clean. A day before arrival, a butler contacted me to inquire about my preferences. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the pool was fantastic, giving off a great resort vibe.

The few bugs didn't bother us. The private pool was incredibly convenient! The room was spacious and clean, though the facilities were a bit old-fashioned and some lights flickered. The resort grounds are huge and beautiful, but the shuttle service wasn't very convenient. Deliveries couldn't come to the room; we had to pick them up from a locker at the main gate. However, the service was excellent and staff were always available when needed. Overall, we were very satisfied!

The room was spotless, and the view was absolutely stunning. The private pool offered incredible freedom, making it perfect for introverts. Andy, our butler, was incredibly kind and attentive, providing excellent service. Cleaning and pool services were super prompt, and the room was always impeccably clean. The cleaning staff were also very responsible and thorough. If I come back to Hainan, I'll definitely choose Pullman again. Highly recommend!
