Hotel Asyl Tokyo Kamata

The location is good as it is near to my car rental nippon. Service was average, have to pay for luggage disposal and lost of room card. I stayed there for 4 days, the room is very small for 4.

I did’t take any pictures but, our stay is worth it. My family had a flight in the next day from Haneda around 11AM. So, I decided to book one room for 4 of us. Amenities are generally more than enough, only, I was disappointed to learn that they breakfast they provided (as I booked the room with breakfast included) was in the form of 500 voucher to nearby coffee shops and they run their business from 8:30 or 9 AM. We had to check out ealier than that to catch the flight. So, the coupons were wasted as they only valid until 10AM on the same day. Location is convenient as less than 10 mins walk from Kamata station. There’s a bus going to Haneda with around 300 yen fare that you can take from the other side of the station. Also, the hotel is located close to market area as shown on the pictures. So, you should not be worry of finding foods or souvenirs around here.

Easy access from Haneda airport to Kamata, direct bus access from airport to Kamata station, Hotel is 5 min walk from Kamata station. A quiet, not tourist destination but lots of good food and shops around.

Located very close to Kamata station. It’s a modern looking, compact and clean hotel that has all the amenities we needed. I like that there were many plugs and outlets in the room, wifi information very easy to find and a clear information booklet in English and Japanese to explain how to use the electrical appliances in the room.

Kind staff can speak English well, location is good for young couple or single who like night life. But fairly small

Good location as its so closed to Kamata train st and friendly staffs. However we just feel this hotel should be at 2,3 stars rather than 4 stars as everything is DIY :)

They took our money for a 5 person family room and we ended up with a room cramped, no space for luggage or even getting from one end of the room to the other. The toilet was so tiny, one could hardly sit comfortably. Despite making a request to clean the room before 10am, our room was left uncleaned and the beds unmade. This was even more strange as we had spoken directly with the cleaning staff who were already cleaning other rooms on the same floor. The laundrette located infront of reception was terrible. It doesnt allow one to add their own detergent (so one would assume their's was decent enough). It simply returned as wet clothing (in spite of multiple drying cycles) that smelled worse than when it started. Dont waste your money on a family room at this hotel.

Decent sized room but quite far from Keisei (around 17 mins walk) so it took me awhile big bags. Location is spotted on, have everything, kaiten sushi, bars and supermarket. Quite a ride to city center though.
