While taking the elevator, I even ran into a robot delivering food—technology and art blend surprisingly well here. 🛏️ Surprising moments in the 80-square-meter suite I requested a larger room in advance and was unexpectedly upgraded to an 80-square-meter executive suite. I laughed out loud the moment I opened the door. The chief’s chair in the living room is so comfortable I didn’t want to get up, and the sofa by the window is perfect for sunbathing. The minibar’s illy coffee machine brews a fragrant coffee, and the welcome gift of a custom aroma diffuser on the bedside table fills the whole room with a light, pleasant scent. My favorite is the master bathroom, with double sinks and a round mirror. While soaking in the tub, you can see the city view through the window, and the warm lighting at night creates a perfect ambiance. 🍴 Happy hour turned into a buffet The executive lounge is on the 33rd floor, offering a 270-degree view that even catches the sea. The evening sunset light is especially gentle. Happy hour from Monday to Friday is held in the all-day dining restaurant. I didn’t expect much, but was surprised to find freshly made knife-cut noodles, more than a dozen hot and cold dishes, plus sushi and blue cheese. I tried a bowl of corn and pork rib soup on a whim, and the ingredients were incredibly generous. I ended up getting a big bowl of soup refilled. Someone nearby said this set costs 99 yuan per person for takeout, which feels like a great deal. 🌿 Little joys hidden in the details When checking in, I casually mentioned to the front desk that I liked plush toys. To my surprise, three minutes later someone brought me a soft and super cute polar bear plush. I spent a while trying to figure out the vintage radio in the room, so I called the front desk. They actually sent someone to teach me how to use it and even tuned it to my favorite station. At breakfast in the restaurant, although the Cantonese shrimp dumplings and siu mai were pre-made, they had a solid texture. Paired with freshly squeezed orange juice, I leisurely ate until 10 a.m. without anyone rushing me. 📍 Travel experience friendly for the lazy Only a 25-minute drive from the airport, dragging luggage is effortless. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the Bay Area Light Ferris wheel. The gym on the 5th floor has very new equipment. Although outsourced, you can enter by just giving your room number.
