Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel

Paid 17,000 SAR for 7 nights in a Residential Suite with Kaaba View. What my sisters walked into on night one was shocking for a Fairmont: the room stank so badly, like a child's toilet accident never cleaned, that they could not sleep in it. They spent their first night at the Haram instead of the suite we paid for . The room was worn out. Scratched and stained furniture, handprints and grime on windows and mirrors, splatter stains inside the cabinets. See photos. The front desk refused to change the room until the next day, and repeated requests for even an air freshener were ignored. Rude staff, no apology at any point. The room was only changed the next morning after we filed a formal complaint through Trip.com. Also note: the listing advertised a jacuzzi in the room. No room in this hotel has a jacuzzi, only the health club. Confirmed by the hotel itself. Iconic building, unbeatable location, and that is where it ends. At this price the condition and service are unacceptable.

Third-to-none experience! This is my 4th stay at Makkah Clock Royal Tower. The location couldn't be better—literally right next to Masjidil Haram. Excellent hospitality, and the food here is honestly the best. Will definitely keep coming back!

Service was not great but amenities were ok. Hotel need to train staffs on good service! A world standard service is the only thing acceptable

Trust and credibility. Very good location especially in the buffet restaurant all the staff are good. I meet one of them staff name maryam. She is very nice to any body

It was last minute booking, having bit of problems with my booking, but the customer service support system was so good at handling things and solved my problem less than an hour. It won’t be my last stay here inshaAllah will be back soon xx
