We had a great stay at the Tennessean. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping as well as conveniently located near the University and all the happenings associated with that. The valet staff was very accommodating, always having our car ready as requested. The free rides within a 3 mile radius were super helpful! The room accommodations were nice and cozy. Great experience! Would love to stay here again!

Nice and clean, good bed, but a bit dated for price. Banged up reddish brown furniture. Marriott connected next door has good coffee shop, and place is walking distance to many restaurants.

Room was nice, a few of the towels were plush, my daughter enjoyed the robe and slippers. I knew about the valet parking (and charge for that) but additional charges --amenity or destination fees ($20+) on the bill were a surprise. I read recently that NY just passed where these charges must now be disclosed when a room is booked. (I think other states should follow)

An absolutely charming hotel super convenient and walkable to downtown as well as for the convention center. Staff was charming and friendly and the rooms themselves are top notch. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Knoxville!

Room could have been cleaner, hair all over the bathroom. Room service breakfast was truly awful, timely, but awful. Location was great. Valet is less than desirable being attached to another hotel. The Tavern and coffee shop were severely understaffed for so many large groups/events happening. Run the shower for at least 10min before expecting any hot water.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless and the bathroom was like a spa.
